- Will-Not-Connect-w-UnknownsRepeated calls from +7 707 790065 (listed as Russia) after a service call to Verizon DSL tech support that ended up in Andhra Pradesh, India--I always ask. They helped, but I've now had survey calls and a tech support return call to my landline even though I asked that it go to my mobile. I don't pick up on calls that I can't identify, and the calls seemingly originating from Russia are not leaving voicemails. No name, no recognizable number---->blocking of number!
I urge each of you to contact Verizon Customer Support--NOT tech support. Only a lot of complaints that they have to deal with will have any chance of fixing this issue. Please be pro-active!- Caller: Verizon ????
- ValC.770-779-0065 came up on my cell phone. I did not recognize the number and did not pick up. I Googled the number came to this website read the comments. My husband had an on-line chat with Verizon regarding our slow internet.
- So annoyedInitiated a live chat with Verizon earlier today that was disconnected. They called my house 9 times and left urgent voicemails to follow up. That's freakin crazy. I had to call customer support to request the phone calls to stop. We'll see how it goes.
- Caller: SIC.Verizon or John Vignesh
- NitaThe caller ID said K Hardy. They first called on my home phone and then called on my cell phone. I have no idea who or why they are calling me. I just want them to stop.
- Caller: K Hardy
- shayThis number keeps calling me over and over again. I think it is link to Verizon customer service because every time I cl verizon somebody from the number calls me. I couldn't understand the person who called so IA sked to speak with somebody else without a strong accent. Another person with the same accent called me back. I told him the same thing. Then ANOTHER person with the same accent called me back. Then I started to think that it was suspicious. The ID that's coming up says "K Hardy". I've called verizon and made them aware. They said they'll block the number for 30 days. Glad I didn't give them any of my personal information.
- GinaD replies to Homemakerwhen my cell phone rang, this number came up but it said "Russia" so I didn't answer it. they did leave a voicemail but the woman seemed to be reading what she was saying. Left a number and a pin number to put in.
- Gigi replies to LeeLeeI got two calls a minute apart, one on land line and next on cell. Didn't answer either. Cell said Russia. Thought it might be Verizon as I am expecting a repair person after 10 weeks of idiots telling me the problem was Apple when it is Verizon's DSL line - slow DSL, not the fast DSL they advertise. Called back and got Russian speaking recording. Go figure.
- Gigi replies to marcusI keep getting difficult accents on calls, but one of them finally figured out problem/ Customer Service said I should ask for someone else, but the poor speakers won't give it up. When Delta did India call centers enough people complained, and they brought service back to USA.
- LJEI had a similar Verizon Chat session as an earlier complainant: obsequious ignorance. So I copied and ended the chat. Within 10 minutes I had 6 calls to my cell (showing +7707790065) and landline (SIC...Verizon 0117707790065). Hack? Terrorist? Verizon? I wasn't sure so I Googled and found this had been going on for almost 2 years, with others! Over the next 2 weeks, I'd make over a dozen calls to Verizon waiting painfully on hold almost every time, sometimes up to 45 minutes. It took me a call or 2 to recognize I was speaking with the Philippines (nice, but scripted) so I started checking the country with every call always requesting the USA and typically being connected with Phoenix, AZ after a shorter hold than my initial call. But the frustration didn't end there since trying to get a supervisor was met with relentless resistance and numerous long holds often ending in disconnects. But I persisted. Yesterday, I started my calls to Verizon again at 4 PM EST. The frustrations continued! Then at 8:20 pm something changed! I reached Anna Marie from Ventura, CA and it was a radically different experience from my previous weeks of frustration. I was quickly connected with Carol, a supervisor from St. Louis, who made a scripted suggestion or two before getting the message that I wanted someone from Verizon to step up to the plate. She assured me her manager was that person. Now get this, and I'm not making this up: That manager immediately called me, gave me her direct phone number and E-mail and promised to get back to me the following night after additional research based on the info I provided (Chat Transcript with Chat ID, timestamp of 6 calls and a log of my calls to Verizon)! She called me back the following night as promised assuring me that thanks to my info the problem had been resolved and I can be assured that there will be no more calls from this number following a Verizon chat. I will monitor monthly to confirm! Remember, I have her direct number and e-mail. THANK YOU, Ms. Will!!!

- Lee CI have been receiving calls all day on my cell from this number. It comes up as K Hardy. So on a whim after the 10th missed call i hit redial, I get a message from Verizon saying this number is not in service.
- no nameI received a phone call from Russia but the number is different +7 (043) 296-12-0. It was someone with a heavy middle eastern accent - Telling me there has been three legal complaints against me. I tried my best to understand what they were saying so I don't know all the details in which they were trying to convey. He told me he was calling from Charlotte, NC. Told him the phone number that popped up said he was calling from Russia. I later told him if he would like to speak with my attorney and he then told me he would check the system because his number should have came from Charlotte. Next thing I knew, he hung up the phone.
- Wendy SWhen I answered the phone the woman asked for my address. When I asked what company she was with she hung up. This has happened 8 times in the last two days.
