- Corey KAfter using the verizon live chat support -- because it was late -- these jerkbags called my house three times in a row at 12:30am.
In the chat window, they asked if a manager could call me, and I said NO. But they called anyway.

I had a screen share tech support from INDIA through Verizon. It was to download McFee security.
I was assured no virus and I did have one.
I have DSL.
I had installed ADWARE prior and it was blocking my ability to download Verizon's security
This guy called before the share. Some how I got connected to him not verizon and I hung up. He just called my landline and my cell without leaving a message but I got background voices in his voicemail I now it's them the accents are all talking in the background- Caller: Verizon
- JessicaI hung up an online chat with Verizon literally 10 minutes ago and already got a call from this number.
ID shows Satyam BPO- Caller: Satyam BPO
- HarryFortVerizon FiOS Technical Support.
Verizon has cut back all their tech support numbers and sent most the support (sic) over seas. After being unable to get through to a live person, I tried online chat. The person's name was obviously from India. He never actually answered my question or anything close to it. His knowledge of written English was minimal and he took forever to respond. He was probably asking someone else. I finally told him off, gave up and complained to a very nice lady in Customer Service.
Not long after, I got a call from SATYAM BPO Saty & 770-779-0065r, which I did not answer. The voice mail gave an 800 number to connect with a "supervisor". His name was "Abdul". He was minimally better at English but not too technically bright.
In the future I will be demanding a connection in the USA.
Side note: This call center may be connected with "Mahindra Satyam" (formerly "Satyam Computer Services Limited") in India.- Caller: Verizon FiOS
- JessCall back about a Verizon chat that ended before the issue was resolved. No big deal. Problem fixed!
- domqueCalled this number it hangs up. It called me.
- Roger T3 calls with 2 messages, didn't answer.
Actually it's an attempt at courtesy / customer service by Verizon FIOS.
I had spoken with them the prior evening about an issue I had with the 4 new digital boxes they had sent me. They weren't working. It turned out that the coax splitter outside was not there, just 4 coax cables hanging loose. I clarified with them last night that all I needed was standard coax splitters to split my current 1 dvr into 5 coax lines.
Which simple information I could not find on the Internet, of course. God forbid that you eliminate one of their $100 freebie income visits to plug in a common $3 coax splitter.
In either case, I had left the chat window open and walked away from the computer to talk to other people and the chat window had timed out... Hence the calls. Good customer service.
Not happy with their hiding that basic simple information, however.
If you recall -- at the beginning of the web chat, they do ask you for your phone number for identification and also to call you back should something happen.

- CJJust received a call from this number on my cell phone showing from Russia. Reading the other comments, I too have had a recent tech situation with Verizon DSL. Could it have been "India" Jones calling me back about my service? LOL. Who knows. There was no message left. Sometimes the phone can be a pain in the ass.

- marcus replies to Charlotte| 2 repliesThe call is from Verizon tech support in India. I am cancelling my internet from verizon because I can't understand anyone on the tech support line. I even called Verizon in the US and explained that I needed to talk to someone who speaks better english and I still get someone who has a heavy accent.
I am switching to Cable internet and I called their tech support and got either someone from the US or someone who speaks English. - Gaithersburg MDThis was Verizon Customer Service following up on a chat request for help I had made the night before on the Verizon web site. I had approved the follow-up call on a feedback form. The caller wanted to make sure that my problem had been solved.
- Caller: Verizon customer service
- MarciaThey called and 10 min.later hung up. Don't know who this is,so please don't call again.
- Aanoyed replies to MargaretBeen having problems since gap in Verizon security back in January 2015. Ever since support went overseas, they aren't able to fix anything. Difficult to understand most of them. I wonder how many lame excuses are in the script?
Have an ongoing email problem, and I am ready to reach out and choke someone.
Now, this 770 number calls and there's nobody there. I have done everything possible to remedy this!
Very sad. We pay good money for this! - TLCI complained about my internet service since 11:15. I was supposed to get a call back in an half hour. I end up calling verizon back and they set up a tech to come out the next day without my permission and no phone call to communicate with me. I ask for the manager again and I was put on hold, then I was told they would be calling me back in a hour. I get a call from Russia. Imagine that. There's no one in the U.S. of A. to call me back. So sick of Verizon and there poor service and communication!!!
- Caller: From Russia it says
- AanoyedGot a call, they left no message. Here's the news: I am no longer dealing with Verizon overseas (dope) tech support. I've been asking for help for approx 3mos! Screen share sessions are worthless! Verizon Internet really sucks. They had a hole in security at beginning of 2015. Check ZDNet.
- Georgia millerthese people are a bunch of f--ing idiots from India !!!! How can Verizon do this to us !!!! We had trouble with the old router, got a moron idiot on the line who we could barely understand and we were on the phone with her for 4 hours !!!!!!! She was brainless and clueless as to what to do and just would not listen to us...2 days later we received another router. Probably another used one that did not work, but was packaged up to make it look like it was new....long story short, the problem was not fixed !! Our problem was that we could not get internet on 2nd floor...now they say it will cost $91.00 for a techie to come out !!!! We did not put the wiring in here for Internet, VERIZON did, and now they say we have to pay for their mistakes !!!!! We are now going back to Time Warner !!!!
verizon is just not worth it people !! Bite the bullet and go with someone else !!!!- Caller: 770-779-0065
- Ryan| 1 replyI was talking to Verizon chat and got disconnected. Then I was called twice by this number 770-779-0065 from Atlanta, Georgia. The caller ID said "K Hardy". I do not know a K Hardy and they did not leave a message so I did not answer. If this is Verizon they should really fix the caller ID!
- Caller: Verizon?
- P***ed replies to RyanMe too, K Hardy...
I've been fighting Verizon about Internet service and I believe they are lying or punishing me because I dropped back one speed. I use chat with them as I can't understand the live support and the chat is usually faster with less small talk. I hung up abruptly today after fooling with this for a couple of hours so now they are calling. Not many options in my area but hopefully that is a matter of time. K Hardy, Really??? The people I have been chatting with have names I can't spell. Yea competition! - JJSame here: did a worthless chat with a robot about a router issue (my service is 10 months old!) … kept saying" sorry for the inconvenience Mr. <name>… I understand it’s frustrating Mr. <name> … let me look up your account Mr. <name> … Our records show it’s out of warranty Mr. <name> …” then after 20 min I stopped chatting. WOuldn’t you know it: he called me and could not understand a word he was saying. So went back to chat to pretty much close the session. So, I get another call 3 hours later from this 770 number: and sure enough when I listen to the message I cannot understand a word except for “something Verizon … call …”
This is surely a messed up business model for the Verizon geniuses: how can they expect customer loyalty when they don’t give a damn about customers? 1 FIOS bundle of phone, internet, Ultimate HD package, 3 Verizon cell phones, and ONE unchallenged monopoly!
And BTW: the speeds they quote are bogus at best. And look what happened to VW cheating on their emission numbers!
Any lawyers out there!? I smell a very good Class Action Suit here!- Caller: 770-779-0065
