These turds called me also, blocked call.

They did the same to me. I blocked them and only reply to their emails when I want to get rid of stuff. I like the convenience of putting the stuff on the front porch, but I agree the calls were out of control at all times of the day and night.

If this is Hope House, why don't they leave a message?  By hanging up, it just appears to be another scam.  If they would leave a message, I would consider returning the call.

Despite registering with no-call, we still get more than our share of junk calls. We've had several calls lately (May-June 2017) from 770-807-3915 with a Caller ID  as "Park Ave Thr" - no idea who they are or what they want; they never leave a message. I did read some of the complaints, above, and we too used to get numerous calls from something named as Hope House which I also never responded to - so I guess the new Caller ID name is meant to pique my curiosity but still, I refuse to answer any of these annoyance callers, no matter what they name and rename themselves. When will the phone companies do something to help their long-suffering customers? To save our sanity we've had to turn off the ringers on our phones and so we miss legitimate calls among all these losers. HELP!

I just received a call from this number.  Apparently they now call themselves the "Park Avenue Thrift Store."  They are on the net.  They are located on Jesse Jewell here in Hall County.  That said, I have no idea if this really was them or not.  Who can say?

I used to live in Kennesaw and donated to this charity once.   However, I now live in South Carolina and have repeatedly asked them to take me off their calling list.   This makes me hesitate to give out my information to other charities.

I just got a call from this number. Caller ID says "Park Avenue THR. I have been in the Atlanta area about 3-1/2 years. I have felt like I have a "Telemarketing Target" on my back the entire time. I have pretty much learned to spot them and to ignore them. Recently I bought a new Panasonic home 'phone system. (I am a consumer only). There is a surprise feature on this 'phone. CALL BLOCK. Very easy to use. Even if they call while you're gone. You can block from Caller I.D. I have blocked them previously as Hope House and Nspire. Must have a new #. They are pure slime. Got my 'phone from Amazon (with three 'phones and the base for about $125. Money well spent. Tom

Was once 'Hope House' (website all but defunct) and now 'Park Avenue Thrift.' Calls repeatedly. No clue what they are up to. Donated to them once when they hung a big pink garbage bag on our front door. Hope it helped victims of domestic violence, but kind of doubt it based on my research of this number!

ID shows Park Avenue THR.   770-807-3915.    Just a different number and name for Clothing Pickup, NSPIRE etc.    STOP hiding behind these names and numbers,  it is not going to do you any good.

Clothing pick up.

Craig Luce at WSB TV ATl has done an extensive investigation of "Hope House" and "Inspire"....they are scams. The so-called president, whose name is Greg Kinnard, I think, has been investigated because his so-called charities aren't what they seem to be, and he run a advisement service to help people during the Great Recession to re-finance their homes and keep them out of foreclosure. Most went through foreclosure anyway, after paying him fees for his co-called help.

To me this is nothing but a scam. I contribute to the Red Cross and Salvation Army. That's it.

Called at 9:06am. Diverted by a service I subscribe to that intercepts robo-dialed calls (rhymes with SoNoHobo). I came to this on the first page and see that it has identified itself as Hope House. I have numbers for that and for another front, INSPIRE, already blocked; found it interesting that they have a new Caller I.D. A couple of participants gave long and detailed opinions and facts about this organization on that first page, so I'll simply point out here that all of these names are a front for the same organization that helps homeless people by forcing them to make robo-calls and collect enough free clothing donations to pay a healthy figure via sales made by the company.

The disregard the company shows for the people it is helping is reflected by their constant calling, even if you tell them you have nothing to donate and ask to be put on their DNC list. I know that there will be many who will argue that people being helped should "earn their keep," but I want to hear their defense of this incessant, duplicitous calling pattern. Which they won't, but still will feel that the organization is doing God's work.

From all that I've learned about the organization (not just here; Google them), it does not seem right to call them a nonprofit organization, although they may be legally deemed so. For this reason I am leaving Call type as "Unknown."

I have already blocked this new front number, even though it already got diverted.
