- Me| 1 replyJust got the call 1/5/2012 at 7:06pm. It was an automated message informing me that I'd just received $100 off my next billing cycle, and to log into my verizon account. I logged in; nothing. I called verizon and, of course, spoke with the dumbest woman possible. I swear they hire lab monkeys that have been experimented on. She said she had the original number that the call came from but due to the FCC regulations she couldn't give it to me, and there was nothing she could do about the number. She also said there was no $100 off my next bill. :( Darn. She was incredibly NOT helpful in this matter. I asked if she could block the number and she told me no. She said it didn't matter. She suggested it was someone I knew prank calling me. I know a handful of people, none of which would be prank calling. Maybe she knows all sorts of juvenile people, I, however, stay away from people with the mentality of 5th graders. Her next suggestion was to change my number. I think I'm going to call back and see if I can speak with someone with half a brain. Or maybe someone I can bribe with a banana to get something done. Grrr.

- JeffVerizon customer, a recorded message advised me I have a $100 credit to my next bill, just go to a website "verizonisyours.com" and put in your account info. I checked out the website, and it looks just like the verizon site. I did not touch it though. If it was real, it would be on the actual website and not some different name. Also, if they wanted to give me a credit, they would just do it!
