Same as above, called wanting phone's pin #

I also received a called from a 800 number stating the same that my phone was being flagged, what does that mean anyways, and to make that I was the right person to enter my pin code my mistake I did but after I thought that it seem odd I right away changed my pin, oh yes I got call right after I got off the phone.

They get people's information such as the PIN number, go to the store, report the phone lost or stolen, buy very expensive phones and then resell them.  You find out when your number has been disconnected.
