- Really Annoyed800-000-0611 called my cellphone this evening. I've been getting a lot of BS calls lately. I googled the number and arrived at this website. I took the advice of other posters and reported the number to Sprint.
Sprint was very helpful. A call center person took notes of my comments. She told me Sprint is aware of this particular number. I then spoke with a supervisor. He too was very helpful. He said Sprint is aware of this number. Even better, he told me Sprint can block unwanted callers. All one has to do is provide their phone numbers, either online or by calling Sprint. He recorded the numbers I wanted blocked. Might be worth a try.- Caller: Unknown

- AlohaI got a missed call from this number on Jan 19, 2011 at 4:52am HST. I am a Verizon Wireless customer. A shame that this has to happen to a bunch of us. Make me wonder why I bother having a phone at all.

- Michael| 1 replyCalifornia Sprint customer here . . . have received weekly calls from this number.for 4 weeks. Also uses 800-000-0711. Invalid number which means this is some young hack/prankster spoofing caller id phone numbers. Found software on internet that allows anyone to change their caller id number display. Only positive is that because the number isn't valid it does NOT appear on billing records, and so, you can't be billed for airtime.

- Michael replies to MichaelAlso . . . I've tried blocking the number with Sprint, which you can do online yourself. You can block telephone numbers, texts, video, pictures, etc. Blocking doesn't work because the number is invalid.

- Jerros| 1 replyI recieved a phone call with the same message from 800-000-5151 today. I called up verizon customer service, and asked about this "promotion". The customer service rep informed me that this phone call was a scam there is no promotion of that nature going on, and after a short amount of research told me that if you goto www.verizon75.com and log in, they will then use that information to log into your Verizon account and do things like order new phones and accessories and have them shipped to a different address. By the time you find out you've been scammed, your accounts been charged and the thief is off enjoying their spoils before anyone knows the wiser.
Then she thanked me for reporting this incident, and told me that she was forwarding this onto their security department. Do yourself a favor and report these calls to Verizon when you get them. - JamesThe scam is still on-going.just receive the call with the same msg but different number, 8000000000. be aware....
