LOL   just hang up ........ Please ..... its a scam !

My husband and I both received calls from this number last night at 9:30am and 9:34am.  We both have Virgin Wireless phones.

Scammers- this is their job- this is what these scumb@gs do for a living- never give out any personal informatio, just hang up on the phishers !!!!!!

I just received this message as well, hung up and called customer service. They told me under no circumstances will anyone will ever call and ask for any information to confirm anything. Updated my password just in case.

I just got a call from this number. It was an automated voice, saying they were from Verizon, which is my carrier. It said someone may have hacked my account, and for me to enter my pin # so they could check. Of course I didn't because it seemed like a scam. The funny thing is when I called back that number, they used the same Verizon answering voice message that Verizon really does use.  Creepy. I called Verizon and reported the incident. They said that number was not theirs, and it sounded like a scam.

I got a call and message about the account pin number then my husbands phone was called 1 min later then 10 mins later my kids phone was called.....Where is this coming from?

Same thing here and I am a Sprint customer. 7:39 PM. Same 800 number saying my account had been flagged for a security breach and I hung up and tried to call it back and very fast busy signal so obviously someone has gotten access to cell numbers on a large scale to be making this many calls big scam!!!

I just got this call like 10 minutes ago. When I answered, no one said anything. Then they hung up. I tried to call back, got a busy signal.

Just got a call from this number on my cell. Did not answer.

It's a scam; there is no '000' exchange used in the U.S., not even for toll-free numbers, so the caller is hiding their true caller id information. This is also why you can't call the number back.

Same number called me today (3/22/11).  I have Sprint.  I did not answer.  Gave my wife heads up after reading these posts.

Got an automated call from this number at 12:16pm CDT. Saying account had been flagged for security purposes and asked for my pin number. Call disconnected before I could gather any more info. Used to be with Sprint but now with AT&T for a couple of years. Thanks to other people who posted to this website about this.

Got this call just 10min ago and my wife who I share the line with got it right before me, basically stating that our account had been flagged for security purposes and wanted a PIN to verify my account.  This is a SCAM people.  I work for a provider and we never, ever will ask for any personal information like that unless you call us.

I received a call from this phone number with a recorded message.
My Sprint account had been flaged,please enter acess number.
I hung up.
I did have a Sprint account but switched 6 years ago.

Got the call a couple minutes ago (7:15 pm).  I figured there was something wrong with the phone number, but I answered anyway.  The call was already disconnected (I didn't hear anything except the beep that my phone makes when a call is dropped), so I hung up.

I have Verizon.

I got a call from this number today(1:08pm). I was asleep and did not answer.
