I got a called yesterday from this company asking if I knew XXX who is my son.  Kia Campbell is who called from UCB .  She stated to me that she was looking for  our son because he was noted as an alternative name and number for another person.  I found it strange since we have only been in this house for 1.5 years which our son has not lived at.  When I kept asking who she was and where she was from she kept pushing if I knew  xxx which was  our son's name.  She then asked me to pass on to our son her name and phone number saying that they were looking for the other person.  When our son called we found out that the other person she was calling about was our son's wife ex husband.  This is unethical.  When my son called them back they got very rude which in turn he gave the rudeness back.  They supposedly have taken all this information out of the data base.    I love to know how they even got our son's name and our home phone number.

I am receiving calls about a debit for a person who has the same last name who is of NO connection to me.

The calls are coming into my home as early as 8am.

Not only do I not thave the time or inclination to discuss someone else problems, Im pissed they've located my phone number for which I pay for and should be able to control.

I hope somebody from United Credit Bureau (referred to in previous postings) reads this. You heartless [***] called my neighbor looking for me. My neighbor has just been diagnosed with fatal illness and has approximately three months left to live. He certainly does not need this harassment and has asked you to never call again. According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, you have been asked, and if you call this neighbor again, I will personally help him to file suit against you. I have contacted you in the past that the debt you are claiming is invalid, and you have not supplied any information to the contrary, as you are required to do by law. If you call me again, I will personally file suit against you. You have been notified to supply proof, which you have not done, and you have been requested to cease calling my neighbor. One more violation and we will see you in court where you will be on the other end of a harassment suit.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! CEASE AND DESIST!!!

Ucb. How very rude and ugly got acall today. Called. Them back. Very harassing. How do you get them to STOP

My mother received a call from 800-210-0836 X63956 a couple of days ago and the man left a message in a weird voice saying he was a Mr. Williams who said "Good morning, I'd like to speak to my dad (who's been dead for 9 years), and my B.I.L," which is bloody weird because he doesn't even live with us but lives somewhere else. I looked this number up and told my mom it's just a scam from people who don't have a life and to not worry about it, lol!

How do I find the VA Banking authority on the internet. I would like to file a complaint.

I received a call from this number from a guy named Terry, stating it was a collection call.  I called him back and none of my information matched up to what he claimed was on the collection file.  He recommended I call CitiBank who had sold them the debt.  I've never done business with CitiBank.  I called Citi and they had no record of it either.  Very strange.

United Credit Bureau called my cell phone.  I let an unemployed friend move in with me and I have no idea how they got MY cell number.  I can understand them obtaining my house number since my friend lives at my house and the number is easy enough to get.  I called them back and asked them NOT to call my number again.  I have blocked the number that came up (954) 236-6069, but I am sure they will just call back using another number.  I already went through this when collection agencies were trying to reach my mother a few years ago and it took lodging complaints with the BBB and other agencies to get them to stop calling.  I don't know why collection agencies continue to call me looking for someone else.  It's a waste of their time and mine.
