- them againsame say urgent--if I owed anyone they have me address & can mail me a certified letter never answer - they did not ask for anyone in particular, nothing about who they are with, etc. -M y understanding is a creditor must ID themselves, say who they are trying to reach... NEVER ANSWER OR CLL THESE KING OF PEOPLE BACK--Creditors has a tme limit to collect, they also sell off to other company's, I was told if you speak to them it can 'reopen' their claim (they consider you acknowledge you owe it) if you ever did that is. let them do the work- if legit they can send mail.

- MariettaSCAM! Called me from a spoofed number but recording gives the 800# everyone here is giving. For the heck of it, as i know i have no outstanding debt and for SURE nothing that would be in collections -- spoke to someone . He is from Excalibur. Asks if i am who i am, my phone number (duh, i was calling from it) and then asked to verify my DOB was xx-xx-xxxx . I said No that is not my DOB (tho he was close it was incorrect) and then he hung up on me! LOL Ya that is professional right ? don't verify anything except what is obvious which is your name and phone number that you are calling from.

- MJSome woman called using a local number, said she was from Excaliber Mediation Group and was collecting on a debt that was transferred to them by Fleet Financial Group for a credit card from 15 years ago that my husband and I know nothing about. She spouted off a bunch of info...name, social security number, current address, a few previous addresses, drivers license number, even said she had contacted 3 people associated with my husband. She also said something about making his drivers license invalid, which can't be done for a debt. We didn't confirm any of it, just listened. When I requested written proof of the debt, she said they were "way past that" and started to ramp up the pressure. I explained that we have received several calls and requested several times for written proof of this debt, I even sent a letter once with nothing in return. She interrupted me, saying, "are you going to listen to me?" Well that got me so angry that I started yelling, "No! I'm talking and you are going to listen to me now! We are not afraid of you! You go ahead and do what you gotta do lady!" She hung up on me LOL. I'm sure nothing will happen, just like the 5 other times we have been threatened for this phantom debt.

- DeasonThe only way to initiate any business around here is to mail me a business letter explaining their urgent problem. Not much I can do until I receive something in writing.

- MarkFrakes replies to BigA| 3 replies"T Hodge" registered Excalibur Asset Group and Impact Solutions Group after her husband, L Snow, settled a lawsuit from the FTC in 2018: https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/cases-proceed ... ion-group-lamar
A permanent federal injection was supposed to bar him from the debt collection industry for five years, as well as fine him and his co-conspirators $3 million dollars. They never paid, and L moved all their operations under T's name, hoping the feds wouldn't notice.
Instead of going away like a naughty little criminal, they continued collecting for the past 4 years, while also operating as the top officer of a larger ring of Atlanta debt collectors operated by L D "Shepsu" C (banned 2010) and C.C. The hubris of this ring knows no limits, as their illegal activities are often posted on Facebook, along with proof of T and L's wedding.
There are at least 3 civil lawsuits filed against these criminal families, outlining all of these details. Subpoena both of them by searching online property records in Dacula, GA... If the Feds won't stop them, at least you can sue them and get your $1000. - BigA replies to MarkFrakes| 1 replyI will check all of that out. I don't know why you think that I should sue them since they have never called me and I have never said that I was contacted by them. If your post does not meet the "smell test" it will be reported for removal.
- Tygerkat replies to MarkFrakes"federal injection"?! Could you possibly mean "federal injunction"?
