Both husband and I are getting these calls.  My voice mail message:  "If I don't know your number, I'm not answering the phone.  If you don't leave a message, I can't call you back.  Your choice"

Their web page flaunts their BBB rating.  If you have a problem with them, create a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  I'll bet they focus on that fairly quick.

I am sick and tired of them calling 2 or 3 times a day... Pick up the phone no one talks...

These people are unscrupulous. Aside from calling constantly, what they did to me is Illegal. I agreed to pay my medical bill.. of course, I likely owed the amount they quoted (even though it did sound high and I had made many previous payments to this hospital) But when they tacked on some other amount that I Did Not agree to, that crossed into Illegality. So I stopped payment and before I agree to anything ever again, I demand an itemized bill.

They might as well quit calling me.  I do not answer numbers that I do not recognize.  They never leave a message.

Just block their number if you have an iphone. Not sure if that can be done with any other type of smart phone. I would imagine you could..?

If you dont want to be called you cant just say stop calling me or hang up on them. If you expect bill collectors to be professional you have to be professional as well. You need to specifically request a "cease and desist" for all phone calls and or letters. Speak with them about the process and confirm it has taken place. Use some patience. That is all. Take down the name, time and date of the person you are speaking with. Then if the cease and desist is violated then yes**** you have a legitiimate law suit for each phone call

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

On page 3, CWG40 has provided the name and address of this debt collector.  On the same page, I have detailed how communications with this or any debt collector should be done in writing.  I have also provided links to federal and state agencies where not only can complaints be made, but people can take the time to read about how debt collection is supposed to work.  As for the notion that the FDCPA allows damages for each phone call, well that it only put forward by people who have never read the law, or simply do not comprehend what they are reading.

Who are these people

These are Harassment calls and they have been asked to stop.
