I keep getting this call and I've had someone use my cell number in the past so I have had to get my number removed from other data bases.  I wish I would've read these posts before I called the number back.  I pushed the number that says to remove you from these communications, but probably won't happen. Now I'm worried that they did phish info from my phone! Ugh.  Can someone report them?

When I called the 800 number back, because I kept getting ETHAN calling me from other different numbers, I called back the 800 # to tell them to inform ETHAN TO STOP CALLING ME FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS AND THEY HUNG UP...***SCAM***DONT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION...***SCAM***

he left a message saying something student loan forgiveness program. It s a scam. Do not give out any personal and financial information to him.

Lol. Spoofed # incoming was 313-634-9849. V/M was recorded from 508-504-8940. Typical "federal student loan forgiveness".

Just got called by “Ethan”. Granted, I have student loans, but they’re under control. When my phone rang the # was +1 (681) 298-3098 (West Virginia), the voicemail shows +1 (872) 245-0074 (Chicago), & I’m supposed to call 1-800-249-7097 🤔. Anyway, BLOCKED.

Left a voicemail letting me know that he wanted me to call back about loan forgiveness

If you are asking about the "student loan" calls, not really other than ignoring the calls.  Blocking the number might work BUT they probably use quite a few of them.

“Hi this is Ethan with the student services department I'm following up in regards to your outstanding federal student loans we have been trying to reach you because you're eligible for federal student loan forgiveness due to the changes made in 2021 it's imperative that I speak with you as soon as possible since the COVID-19 payment delay is about the end to discuss your options please give me a call back at 1-800-249-7097 I look forward to speaking with you have a great day…”

Seems like a scam considering my loans have been deferred for grad school already

I Had a lot of voicemail from ethan regarding to  a student loan,  my  phone detected the number like a scam
