- Sarah| 2 repliesThey have called me several times, but it is always late at night around 7 or 8 PM. I usually don't answer 800 numbers, but this time I did. Wanted me to call back and ask for Matt Dervin with extension 53310. I know they are from India, I can tell by the accent. This same guy called me on my job and tried to harass me. My boss gave him some unpleasant advice and told him not to call back. He called back and she reported them to the police. Hadn't heard from them until tonight. Didn't let on that I was the person they were looking for. It is against the law for a debt collector to call after 6:00. I will be reporting them to BBB.

- TheRealSeriously® replies to SarahActually, it's after 8pm, not 6
- BigA replies to SarahLegal Federal hours for a debt collector to call are 8 am to 9 pm your time. The BBB is worthless, spineless and will be of no help to you.
I have posted everything you need to know, what to do, how to make the calls stop, where to report them, and how to make them pay you here: https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-619-354-6303/3 - GJCall regarding ??? would not leave information. They wanted my phone number and social. I said know that they could pull my name if they had anything. They could not. They hung up after I said I was reporting the to FTC. I have nothing with Midland. The agent was Steve Myers and Kevin Gusmon both with Indian accents

- Diana| 1 replyThis person keeps calling and calling and identified themselves with MCM and the name as Robin Pierce. They keep calling for my daughter who finally stated it was a scam. DO NOT CALL AGAIN!!!
- Caller: MCM - Robin Pierce
- BigA replies to DianaWhy look there! Right here on this page is the solution to your problem! One that will work, unlike your "DO NOT CALL AGAIN!!!" that you posted. Too bad you didn't read it, you would have learned something. Oh well, looks like they are going to keep calling you.
- Concerned granddaughterThey keep calling my grandma claiming she owes money on her sears credit card. This account has been paid off and closed for years so it is obviously a scam. My grandma is suffering from dimentia and gets confused easily so I guess they know she is an easy target. These people are criminals and something should be done to stop them!

- HatesSpamCallsReceived a call from a gentleman calling into my work, asking for my boss, when probed for details he stated he could not disclose anything as it was a personal business call. I informed him my boss was not in and offered to take a message. Upon given this option he told me his name was Shawn Hamblin, calling from Midland Credit Management, he repeated that it was a personal business matter but now had no issues giving me his name of the business name. He gave me the 1-800-265-8825 number with extension 55090, but he was calling in from 1-877-365-9452. Complete and utter spam, junk, scammer call.

- Ana| 1 replyWe have been receiving calls from this number X 55416, and call comes as “scam likely” every day, several times.
Today my husband pick up and they started talking to him without even verifying if it was me. They wanted to give us a settlement for 3 accounts, when asked his name he said John Montero. He was reluctant to give phone number. They had my bank account routing and last 4.
They would not give me an address. Kept pushing to settle the 3 accounts today. When we called the real Midland corporation, they had a different number and were closed on Sunday. These people are fake. Watch out!!!- Caller: Midland Credit Management

- JMD| 1 replyI was just informed that this outfit called my elderly mother's house. I have never received any written notification from any supposed creditor/establishment outlining any debt. They're third-party junk debt buyers. They don't have a credible debt with me so they've probably picked up an old, paid off note of some kind. I'm more bothered that they've now intruded on my 87-year old mother's peace. They should be ashamed of themselves... and in JAIL.

- BigA replies to JMDWell I doubt jail will ever happen. However if you want to keep your mother's peace intact, the solution has been posted here. On this very page in fact. You can use it to permanently stop the calls, or not. Your choice.

- Heather RasmussenI got a call and I am just making sure it was legit, as I was pretty sure that this bill was paid off already, how can I find out if it is real? The guy told me that once we set up a payment schedule he could now tell me his real name, sounds very fishy to me and I am worried about it being a scam, how can I find this out?
