Linda called saying she had "GREAT NEWS" from an entry that I filled out at Keystone at the Crossing Fashion Mall (I filled out an entry form to win a BMW). Thank goodness I checked on this. Not even calling her back.

Promotion from smart travel saying I won a cruise.  Jamie Feist was the caller.  Makes me sick that people can sound so nice on the phone to find out that its all a scam.
Same exact script as everyone else has had.

Just got the call from 484-754-0300 number and it is offering a free cruise. All because I entered for a chance to win an autographed jersey at a Pacers game. I was skeptical and now reading this board matches EXACTLY what they told me. Go to their office. 2 forms of ID and all that stuff. The direct line call back number is 1-800-355-4300 STAY AWAY..... It's all about time shares and a giant SCAM. Last time I'll ever try to win a FREE JERSEY......

Went to a Tribe game, filled out a form for a autographed Jersey. Two weeks later was called by Smart Travel to claim our prize of a 4 day 3 night cruise with Airfare included to the Bahamas! Smelled like BS checked it out, to my suprise it was [***]!!! I wonder what they will think when we don't come to our 'scheduled' sales pitch. Too good to be true, Oh yes! Why were they giving away a football Jersey at a baseball game anyway? Fishy!

Hilarious. Got the same call about winning a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas with airfare for signing up at the Indians Baseball game. Initially just agreed to go to the meeting knowing it was probably going to be a waste of time. Had to call and re-schedule the first appt because they picked the wrong date and didn't listen to me and then after reading all these posts, thought I would be considerate and just call to cancel our appointment. The woman on the phone "Sam" was pissed and trying every way possible to re-schedule and "work with my schedule". I said that my husband and I were just not interested anymore and could hear in her voice how annoyed she was and she was super rude about it. Wow. Glad I will not be wasting my time with them. Maybe I should have just been a no show. This does not sound worth it.

Got the same call from Smartravel and decided to go to 9000 Keystone because a friend of mine owns this package and swears by it- he travels all the time with his family and they went to Hawaii last year for under $2000. Wife and I showed up- saw the presentation and then ended up with a sales associate who was actually nice. They were very professional and were not high pressure like we expected.

Thats why we ended up purchasing because we love to vacation and the vacations are all at wholesale costs. Looking forward to our first trip. Id keep an open mind if you like to travel - and we do- and we rent condos anyway but I figure it will save us a fortune over the years and make it easier to do.

We got the call after being at a Pacers game so we were skeptical but went anyway for the cruise. Ended up having a lot of fun and the sales person we got was really nice- although they were new- but they got all of our questions answered.
We took the package and got a deal and will spend about half of what it normally costs us.( 20 vacations for 9,500) Will report back after we take our first trip but we are excited about it. Don't believe all the naysayers- my brother owns a package like this and vacations what seems like all the time and hes not rich.

I filled out a form at a Pacers game, car was grand prize & autographed ball was daily prize. Yet I've supposedly won 4 days/3 nights in the Bahamas. My dad worked there and still has connections so I can promise that I will follow through.

800-309-7000 x022, "Julie" Same spiel here in Indy. "No purchase required". Just pay port charges and security fees, approx. $200/person. Has anyone actually gone on the cruise without buying anything else?

Yes,a couple of dummys I know went..My husband & I went yesterday. Its not a timeshare its a vacation rental plan. After 20 minutes about their "company" they try to get 20K for 25 week vacations..Then they drop the price to 15K..When still not interested they get the manager & offer you a deal for 6000..Still saying no & after over an hour they take you to get your prize voucher which still will end up costing 300-400 per person. They also offered a 20.00 red lobster gift card for showing up & when I mentioned this the guy rolled his eyes & gave me a piece of paper & said to send the receipt to this address & they would send the money back to us..After we declined the vacation packages the attitudes changed & they were completly rude..What a waste of time & gas..Total Scam!!

I received a call from Jamie Feist at Smartravel telling me I had entered to win either a BMW or $50,000 at the Dave Matthews concert in Noblesville,IN this past summer. She said I'm still in the running for that prize, but was also selected to win a 4 day 3 night cruise with airfare to whereever I choose. I just needed to book it within a year and pay the taxes of $189-225 a person depending on the time of year we choose to go & cover any acholol we consume on the cruise. She told me the only thing my huband and I needed to do was come in to their Keystone office for an hour long session and bring 2 pieces of ID. She said we could bring our kids and they would entertain them while we attended the session. The lady sounded really nice and said that she was at the Pennsylvania office, but the number that came up on my caller ID was from Illinois. It sounded to good to be true. The entry I filled out at the concert was to win concert tickets. I don't remember any of this stuff. She told me to call her back at 800-309-7000 ext 303,  if we decided to take the offer to set up our appointment. After reading other messages, I don't plan on setting an appointment. It all sounds to good to be true!

I received a call about a week ago from a lady saying I had won a prize after filling out a card at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indy for a chance to win a vacation. I did not call her back. Today, I get another call from the same place saying again I had won a prize and this time saying it was a cruise to the Bahamas and airfare. The number she gave to call back was 1-800-309-7000 and said she was calling on behalf of Indy Smart Travel. I did not call, but instead looked them up here and found all the reports about it being a scam for time shares or vacation rentals. I'm glad I decided to check here first! Thanks everyone!

I set up an appointment with the travel group.   The trip is free, the taxes and port charges are extra  $150 to $225  per person depending upon time of year.  When you arrive, they require a non refundable $99 per person to start the booking process and the balance is due after the presentation.  There is also a chance to win $1000 if any of your ID, CC num or any identity information has the last 4 digits that they display on the wall when you check in.

They get big discounts on the travel, duh, and you are a captured audience to buy some of their timeshare vacations.

I have recieved close to a dozen phone calls from Smart Travel Indianapolis since the Indy Air Show in June.  For two and a half months now! Every time I've missed the call and almost every message left is from a different person, but the same pitch. Free 3 day Bahama cruise including round-trip air fair. Seems weird since I never singed up to try and win this prize. Also a number of times they mention my wife by name as well. I know for a fact we didn't sign anything together. I'm pretty sure I also got a similar call for a fee trip, with the same timeshare catch others have mentioned here, last year after the Rib America Festival in Indy. I guess being the lucky winner just can't exist anymore due to scammers like these.

My wife went to an Indiana Fever game and entered into the drawing for a free Bahama Cruise. She got a call about a week and a half ago saying that she had won the contest! We were ecstatic because we just got married last October and just haven't had the money to take a honeymoon...we thought this would be PERFECT!! Well this company, Smart Travel called her today and said that we were required to go to a 1 hour meeting tonight at 8 P.M. here in Indianapolis behind the Fashion Mall at Keystone at the Crossing. After she got the call, I told her that it seemed to be good to be true and I wanted to look it up to get some information, needless to say, I am SO GLAD I did!! I think I woulda had to slap someone running the contest! HA! HA! HA! I wouldn't do that, but I would be REALLY mad if we woulda wasted our time and gas driving there for nothing. We have to send a BIG THANK YOU to EVERYONE on here that have posted about this company and what the REAL truth is!! Now, if ANYONE wants to hook us up with a trip to the Bahamas, you would have a taker! HA! HA! HA! HA! Just kidding :-D
