- Blondie| 3 repliesWe get these scam callers all the time, we just don't answer the phone if we don't know who it is. I think It's a shame that you cant answer your own phone in fear of being harrassed.I relize these people have to make a
living as well, but when you say your not intrested that should be it.
Why can't they accept No......
Insteat you have to cuss them out..... Have A Nive Day......- Caller: (800)309-7000

- TinaI entered for these sweepstakes. She asks me if I am at least 21 years old. I say no, I am 20. Then she recommends me to my parents or someone else from family to claim my price. However, she told me that even though, the trip is free, a payment of $600 must be made to cover sales tax! ???? The woman's first name who called me is Tanya. She left me phone number and extention in order to have someone from my family to claim prize. It is 800-309-7000 ext. 303
- Patrick| 1 replyto me, they seem legit! they called me twice - both times telling me where and when i entered sweepstakes - and they were right - i was there and did enter. first time they offered me 2 nights in Vegas (airfare included) i could not get me and my g/f to get there together (their office is about 45 mins away) ... and she explained they have a limited number of vouchers to give (that DOES make sense). so i forgot about it ... then after being at an event again, i filled another out. this time i took them up on it. i was offered 2 nights at any marriot in the usa ... and $300 free gas. so the gas there IS a catch - you need to buy $100 in gas from ONE company in a calendar month, save your receipts, send them in, then they'll send you a $25 gas card ... and they'll do this 12 times. well - with gas prices today, i'd have no problem doing $100 in gas in 30-days ... but their website tells you that if you don't spend that much, to let them know you don't drive and they'll give you other options.
there is no such thing as a free lunch. they want ppl to come in to listen to their service ... and hopefully you'll want to buy. of course the only way is to offer you something free. the gas cards establish brand LOYALTY for 12-month period, which means you'll be there regularly and maybe buy coffee, pop or sandwich, too ... so from a MARKETING perspetive, if you look at the whole picture - it's a WIN-WIN situation for both.- Caller: Travelwise or Sundance Vacations

- TimShe called, left a number 18003097000. Said i won something from a form i sent in in august at some download tour. No idea what she was talking about. Glad i checked the internet to see what the hell that number was, it sounded exiting...
- Faz ManCalled claiming i won 50,000 and a cruse.. didnt even know my name and called me patel.. i'm not indian tho. I asked this lady where i signed up for this and she said 6-flags hurricane harbor. I was like WTF!!! i was there when i was 13 and i'm 19 now. for sure scam. Ima call em back and [***] with em.
- dohya same [***], i was at a phillies game drinking, filled one out, been calling me leaving me messages every few weeks, it seems ive won something different every time hahahhaa [***]
- Joe (Phila)"Jenny" called me this morning because I "won" a cruise + airfare to the Bahamas. I didn't answer because it was an 800# that I didn't recognize. Her message said that I filled out some type of form at a Phillies game. I have never in my life filled anything out a Phils game, except for the occasional *anonymous* all-star ballot (which consists of poking holes for votes, NOT providing ANY personal info or writing anything at all). After thinking about it, the only way I can be traced to the Phillies is through either (1) online ticket purchase (via official Phillies web site), or (2) use of (Citizens Bank) ATM at ballpark.
The sad thing is, vultures like "Sundance Vacations" will continue to operate and harass alert people because despite vigilant consumers like us, there is a sucker born every minute. I like Faz Man's idea to call back and "f*** with em." Won't change anything, but damn it'll feel good.- Caller: Sundance Vacations
- DinaI supposedly filled out a sweepstakes entry at a Cheap Trick concert...
are they even still alive??? I supposedly won some stupid vacation. I have never filled any thing like this
Funny thing is, my phone did not ring, somehow they went straight to my voice mail to leave this message.
They have called me 17 different times so far...- Caller: Sundance Vacations

- lOk, thank you to everyone for putting your experiences in writing. So, did anyone go to the meeting and get the trip?? I just want to know if they stand up on their offer to get the FREE trip. I'm actually pretty good at not buying stuff, I do it all the time in Orlando with the Free Disney tickets.

- MimiI was called today and I had won a cruise to the Bahamas as well including a flight to Florida Miami. I remembered I filled in a form at a fair more to please the guy than to win something.
The woman who called me, called me by my name all the time during the conversation. I think it is a psychological trick. I would call her back I said, because I had to think about it since I don't have a car to go all the way to Indiana. Also I am too busy with work to get days off.
The number she gave me was 1 800 309 7000 with extension number 340.- Call type: Non-profit organization
- mattI was called and told about a free cruise i "won" but i had to go to the office to get the tickets. I figured what the heck and went. You sit through an hour long time share speach, that is really the only catch. after it's over tell them you are broke and cant afford it at this time. they will give you your cruise and airfare for 2. the value is around $1200, you have to pay the taxes, which are nominal when you think about the whole value. I spent over 1800 for a base cruise 2 years ago, now i am going on the same cruise for around 200. you can also upgrade if you want. great deal if you want to sit in a conference for an hour!!

as mentioned by Sundance - Corporate Communications Director - MIKE PAGI filled out a form at a Phillies game in July of 08 from Sundance vacations and the first time they called me i didn't answer because i didn't recognize the phone number but i googled it and i found out about this scam. I just got another call today 12/03/08 at 10:45am and i answered with some pretty vulgar words that i can't say here and threatened them with a lawsuit and she hung up on me, i just love when they hang up on the scamees!

- matti just got a call today at 8:10am on 1/29/09. the person named kelly said that i won a trip to the carabenes. she said i won the context at the bulls game and that i was in a drawing to the mega grand prize of money. all i had to do was find a person that was 21 or older since i'm 19 and have them go to their office and listen to an hour meeting and i get free air far from either midway or ohare. all i had to pay was the sale tax. such a scam.
