    So has anyone gone?
My husband and I just received this call and, of course, we were suspicious.  However, is paying ~200/person bad for a 3 night cruise with free airfare?  Or does the company not follow through with that at all?  Thank you!

btw, my caller's name was Tanya.  The # on my phone read: 717-364-1750.  The office # she gave me was: 1-800-355-4300.  She said she was sending me an email with the details in writing, but I never got that email.

My husband got the call after he had signed up for some prize at a Fever game. They called and said we had to sit through a one hour sales pitch and we would get the trip as promised. We went and I was skeptical as we listened to the pitch and then they take you in a room and offer you a deal. IF you refuse, a "Boss" comes over to the table and makes the deal sweeter. If you still refuse, they send you to an office to get the details of your free trip, another guy makes a final offer on their travel club, so to speak, then he gives you your info on the free trip and you leave. We haven't booked the free trip yet. I agree it is a scam, because they offer you a bulk rate for 25-30 trips for a lot of money and that could take years to take all those trips and in the meantime they could jump and run with your cash and you get nothing. Plus, my husband asked if we could come back in a month and buy the package and we were told either buy it that day or they wouldn't be here. That in itself let me know it was a scam.

This all is very familiar  to my rec'd phone call this morning.  "You won a free cruise, make an appt to verify and listen for an hour blah, blah, blah???" to who knows what.  Glad I came to this website.  If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  The # for Clara is 1 800 355 4300.

Fran called from Smart Travel Indy (Caller ID says Sun Vac, Harrisburg PA).  Lucky me!  I won a cruise for 3 nights and 4 days to the Bahamas on the Royal Caribbean.  They'll even cover flights, meals (no alcohol).  There is no need to buy anything.  They're simply giving away gifts for their 21st anniversary.  Must come to the office to claim.  I'll only be responsible for port charges and taxes payable to Royal Caribbean.

The office is Smart Travel Indy / 9000 Keystone Crossing Blvd / Indianapolis IN 46240.  Come in.  We'll go over the package and scheduling.  We'll tell you a little bit about the company. They are open weeknights and Saturdays.  On Saturdays, they schedule 1 hour increments from 10 am to 2 pm.

This is where I woke up (and hung up).  What travel agency schedules 1 hour increments?  I googled Smart Travel to see if the company even existed.  Pages and pages of scams came up.

Wow!  Glad I checked here before my appointment this Friday.
I received the call on my cell.  The number they are now using is 973-361-1888.  I'm a very good note taker, so of course I wrote everything down.  Everything, everyone else has mentioned is the same as what I was told over the phone.  My income needed to be over $35K a year, the trip for 2 to the Bahama's was free - all I needed to do was pay the taxes of either $189 or $225/per person, the cruise line is Royal Carribean, theres a $1000 cash prize if any of the last four digits of my CC#, Checking acct# or Debit Card# ends in the same 4 numbers they 'draw' - they're located at 9000 Keystone Crossing Blvd. Suite #200 - I needed to bring 2 pieces of ID and of course I'd receive $20.00 gift certificate from Red Lobster just for coming in on Friday after 4:00pm.
I also asked the question to Bridgette, if it was a Time Share, as I had no interest in attending anything of that nature.  She assured me it was not!

I think I'll pass on my Friday night appointment.

    Thanks for the Heads up!

Call to AT&T cell phone on DNC list, claiming someone trying to reach "Trisha and Richard" who were "recently at the York Fair" with "very good news". No-one at my phone was at the York Fair, no-one known as "Trisha and Richard" related to me or anyone on this cell phone number. Left this number (tagged as Illinois) to call back. I'm not falling for it.

    Pretty much same as above.
Received a call from 317-807-3030 Smart Travel came up on caller ID.  A woman Denise left a message that we visited Great Aventure on Oct 6th and she had great news and to call her at 1-800-309-7000 x 77. So I called back the next day and just dialed the 800 number.  A woman answered and I asked for x77 she said what number was I calling from to help look up the prize we won. So I guess she looked it up. She told me that we were still in the running for the car we had entered to win when we were at Great Adventure and that they had pulled our name for a Bahamas Cruise out of Florida.  She said that we had a year to take the cruise and that we would have to book it 60days ahead of time except holidays and black out dates.  She said since they our a new company that all we had to do was meet with them for an hour, the closet office they had was in King of Prussia PA. and they have a drawing for $1000 if our numbers match, etc I told her I would have to call her back.  She said is we make the appointment in the next 3 days, they would add in round trip airfare.  I aked the name of the company again she said it was Sundance Vacations. She asked what time we worked, I told her it would be better if we called her to make the appointment.  She said that would be fine and we can call back at this number.  Judging what I've seen online, we will not be meeting with them or calling them back.

I received a call today and let it go to voicemail because it was an put of state number and I just dnt answer those. The voicemail that was left told me to call 800-291-0500 ex.710 because they had exciting news for me. I just now told my boyfriend about it and he convinced me to call them back. Let me say I am so glad I looked on the Internet for this companies address and found all of this. The exact same thing that everyone else is saying is what was said to me. After finding this I had my boyfriend call the same number and say he received a voicemail. Funny thing is that they knew his name and went along with the fact that he got a voicemail. They have caller ID I'm sure that's how they knew his name. They went on to say the exact same thing they had said to me And everyone else on here. I hope they get caught. This company and the cruise is a scam.

I got a call from them today.  They got my info from a Pacer game I attended.  They asked me if I made over $35,000/year and was over 21.  I'm glad I read the other posts and did not waste my time.  Thanks!

The post from "Jordan W" and the post immediately after it by "Keri S" were clearly written by the same person on the same date. Note the lack of apostrophes in contractions, use of "vacation" as a verb, sentence fragments, and identical improper use of hyphens. Both also state the the sales person was "nice". These posts are fake positive reviews written by a representative from Smart Travel.

My wife also received several calls about a free cruise to the Bahamas. We will not be meeting with them.

But after all of that, did you get the cruise and airfare as promised?  I just received a call and I am skeptical but I can take an hour of a pushy sales call if in the end the trip is legit.

Same story as most of the others- Pacers game sign up and free cruise/airfare for 3 night Royal Carribean cruise. They have called three times and I was getting tempted to call back. Thankfully I checked on line and just saved myself time, gas, and frustration. Thank you for sharing your experiences with this. The numbers that have called are (717) 364-1750 and 800 309-7000.

Im not going to be the first one to book and lose!
