It is not a scam or a timeshare I went last night they offered a number of vacation packages. What you're buying are vacation weeks, weeks that you can use anytime of the year (a week is 8 days 7 nights) there is no expiration date on your weeks. Sure you have to pay for your travel but you would anyway and staying in a condo at nice resort for about $400 per week for a family of four plus $99 to book it is a hell of a deal. As far as the cruise goes that was only one of 4 gift option. No one told me I won anything they were very clear that it was a gift incentive for going to their presentation and that I would be responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the travel. My wife and I like to cruise and to fly from Indianapolis to Miami FL and take a four day 3 night cruise is not cheap. It will cost me about $400 for the whole thing plus what ever I decide to tip on the ship, you just can't beat that. One of the gifts was air fare to a number of location and two nights at a nice hotel taxes and fee were like $32 what you spend while there is up to you. Everyone here is bad mouthing something they never even went to check out. If you feel that you're to weak to sit through a presentation and walk out without buying then that's on you.

I posted a positive comment about Smart Travel so I'm sure the Admin will state it's a fake post. Not everyone writes well, so that's really not a good reason to call their post a fake. I know this is a site to complain but how can you complain about something you know nothing about. I don't work for Smart Travel and never have I'm retired and was just looking for a less expensive way to enjoy time away from home. There were people that didn't buy a thing some took the cruise others planned on taking the two nights in Vegas including the air fare.

I got a local call twice and three out of state calls. The first go around was a free cruise. I ignored it because I don't like cruises nor would I sign up for one. The second round of calls occurred july 9, 2013. This time I won airfare and hotel. All I had to do was pay sales tax. Apparently I signed up thinking I would when a car, frankly I doubt anyone won a car. I do remember signing up in Feb. They said they needed an hour of my time and they would process my trip, etc. The red flag for me was there was not a distinct location for their offices.  REALLY.

If they are a legitimate business then why do they not have a website or an address readily available on the net..?

Thank you all for the heads up.  I received no less than 10 calls from Smart Travel  1800.309.7000 x305, before I actually answered one .  The messages all said I won a "free" 4 day / 3 nite cruise to the Bahamas when I signed up at a Fever game this fall and were SO excited to tell me all about it.  I spoke to Brooke (with an "E") today who said all I would need to do is listen to a 1 hour presentation about thier company at Keystone at the Crossing and bring 2 forms of ID.  I would then receive my information on the cruise for 2 + meals + airfair that would need to be used within 1 year.  She did then mention that all we pay for is the taxes which can range from $189-$225.  I think the "FREE" part got lost somewhere in there.  Thanks again!

I got a message today saying we entered a sweepstakes to win a free car, but our name was drawn for a free trip, but that we would have to go sit and listen to someone tell us about the company for one hour in Indianapolis.  I asked if it was a time share thing and they said no they would have told me if it was.  I still didn't like the feel of the whole thing, you have to listen to a spiel about the company before they give you your prize.

Since we can't drive to Indianapolis for this hour lecture I passed on it and told them to give it to someone else. I think he hung up on me.

Slow day in the boiler room? 11 pages of truth about your filthy scam hitting he bottom line huh?

LOL. Good. Posts from scammers like you is direct evidence that this site is working and your scam isn't.

Is your mom proud of what you do for a "living" ... did you always want to be a scammer when you were growing up, or was it brain damage or drug addiction or botth that drove you to it?

Yes, every time I get a great vacation for free with no strings attached the first thing I do is Google the phone number of the company I got it from and post comments on a discussion forum about unknown calls. Right...

I hope you are aware that misrepresenting yourself for consideration or interest on a web reputation forum such as this one is ILLEGAL. And what's more, the FTC is starting to track down people who do so. Not good news for you, I suspect.
