I also got the call from Judy. I entered at a Backstreet Boys concert in August, my two friends got calls at least a week later, but my call just came about 20 minutes ago. It's a total scam and unfortunately one of my friends has been suckered into it. So we'll see.

You have to pay taxes and a boarding fee and meals + you have to leave from where they tell you to.  For example, I "won" a 3 day two night cruise to the Bahamas from a 5 month old entry @ Six Flags.  I had to drive to Rockaway, NJ and pay a $100 deposit, $600 in taxes, $300 in another fee and could only leave from Florida.  I LIVE IN FREAKIN NEW JERSEY!    Why can't I leave from New York?

Also, you can only take the 3-day cruise during A MONTH IN which there are no federal holidays, nor can it be during June, July, August or September.  That would leave me to get to Floriday in March or  April because every other month has a federal holiday or is during the summer, which isn't allowed.

So by the time i leave New jersey, Travel to Florida, pay $1000 and be confined to March and April, after enduring a horrible sales pitch, it isn't worth the headache.

She defnitely made sure i was 21 and even wanted to know who was coming with me.  She emphasized, NO KIDS ALLOWED!

I recieved a call from this number today. After reading MANY posts about this, I will be cancelling my appointment. I have better things to do than sit through aggressive sales tactics just to take a trip (and not be in control of when I go or where I stay.) Thanks everyone for your information...this isn't a scam, but it does sound like you have to jump through a million hoops.
P.S. I read that Travel Wise is rated F by BBB in Cleveland. Travel Wise goes by different names...when they called me they said their name was Sundance vacations.

We also rec'd a call from this number 1.800.309.7000 regarding that we had won the cruise to the Bahamas.  My boyfriend filled out a slip at a Cleveland Cavalier's game recently.  Just seemed to good to be true.  Found lots of interesting information regarding this, and we will not be attending our mtg. as we had scheduled.  We live in Elyria, and don't want to go through all the headaches and waste gas to go that far for a crazy scam.  Check out the information with the BBB~~

Thanks for the infor. Chantel~~I was trying to find something recent when I came across your posting.  When my boyfriend rec'd the call that he had won, it's funny because his friend that went with him to the Cavs game also got a call that he had won!!!!  Very leary~~  you are correct in the ratings from the BBB here in Cleveland.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has REPEATEDLY ruled that sweepstakes entry forms DO NOT COMPLY with the Do-Not-Call regulations.

There are numerous links that demonstrate that the FTC has determined that sweepstakes entry forms are not a defense to Do-Not-Call violations.

In case after case of sales organizations that use the sweepstakes ruse as a means of skirting the Do-Not-Call regulations the FTC has taken remedial action. Yet Sundance Vacations aka SunScam Vacations continues to defy the DNC regulations!

What does that say about the ethics and integrity of the company?
