Received a voice mail - "Thank you for choosing Western Union.  We are reviewing a financial transaction that you made.  If you do not contact us within the next 4 hours, this transaction will be cancelled."  Well...since I have no funds to transfer to ANYONE, this cannot be valid....

Got phone call from this number asking for some Naster ? person .Persistant caller... I let phone ring a while. Told him wrong # and I hung up.

Was a legitimate call to verify my WU payment I had sent online.

I received a call from this number claiming to be Western Union. Foreign accent. He asked for my checking account number. I am not 2 years old so I asked him how do I know he IS FROM Western Union. He just said he is...LOL. OK, I hang up.

I've send €66 to a family member in Indonesia using WU. After completing the transaction I was called by +1 800-325-6000. Since I never respond to phone numbers I do not know, I disconnect it. Calling back this number I was asked to give the MTCN number. I didn't gave it, since I considder this information as confidential.

I just made a western union transaction. I got a call to confirm the transaction, he wanted the name of the receiver. I did not provide it. This guy was slick, he's been doing this for a while. I told him it wasn't safe for me to give him that info. He told me he would put a 48 hr hold and to call back when I was ready. scam.

Received a call from this # but they didn’t leave a message. I’ve never done business with WU so this is obviously a scam.

Thus no 800-325-6000 called 3 times in a row on the the third call they left a message couldn't understand the woman that called she spoke with an accent from the comments this is clearly a scam I seem to get a lot of them so I've learned to recognize them and look it up thanks

Western Union calling me back about a legitimate problem with some $$ that I had sent.   They were calling me to provide me more information about the failed transaction and how to correct it for future transactions.  This number was confirmed by check the WU website.

I just sent some money with Western Union and got straightaway a call from that number, from a man with quite a strong accent, speaking in French, asking me for details on the receiver. I really don't know HOW they got my number, it's freaking me a bit. Maybe through a whatsapp conversation? Maybe from cookies on my browser (chrome), I don't know. Of course I didn't give anything...

A woman called me 5:00am. She asked me my account number for transfer. I hung up the phone and did a number search., It was a fraud and scam.

Very fast talking person on the voicemail said I needed to call back Western Union in the next 4 hours or the transaction would be cancelled for my security. That sounds like a load of crap!

Well, if you read this message board, you would see that many of us have never dealt with Western Union, including me.  I received a call about an hour ago from this number, but whoever was on the other end simply said "good bye".

I googled the number before I answered.  I saw that it was a scam so I answered it.  ME:  Hello, Michigan State Police.  THEM:  Hung up.

caller ID showed WUNION 800 325-6000, didn't answer, no message left, no doubt a scam! Beware!
