It's definitely Tenet.  I was in a local ER in the past 60 days.  Told them outright they need to change the message they leave, cause it doesn't surprise me if people don't call back.  In this day and age of scams everywhere, you need to identify yourself in a phone message if you want someone to pay attention/think the call is legit.

Received a call from 1-800-346-0775 and the caller id was also that number.  Message said 'Patient Financial Services' was related to a 'confidential financial matter'.  I'm sure it was a bill collector for son's medical bill.  They had information on the account, dollar amount last paid but didn't have his phone or address.  They acted like they were from the hospital billing office but they would have had all of the infomation if they were from the hospital.

got the call at 9am didnt answer and they didnt leave any message.

This company apparently handles billing for multiple companies.  On the phone message, they simply said "This is the business Office.  Please call 800-346-0775 in regard to an urgent matter that they need to speak with me about."  That alone is a very unprofessional message.  In my case it was for Tenet Health Care.  The problem is that the account they were calling about is in good standing and already had an automatic payment set up more than two months ago.  In fact, 3 of the 6 payments have already been made and the fourth is not due for two weeks.  Apparently Tenet's online payment system (where I setup the automatic debit to my credit card) is not interfaced very well to the data they send this outsourcing billing firm.  The representative checked the billing system and sure enough, the account was fine.  This is an example of incomptetence!  I wonder how much this is adding to our health care cost?

Yeah, the first bit of the call is cut off and I just hear a lady "continuing her sentence" by saying "... business office. Please call us back at 1-800-346-0775."

I live in CO so I'm wondering just how legit these insurance/hospital claims are about the number.

Good Samaritan Hospital business office in West Palm Beach Florida. I have NEVER been in their hospital, don't know anyone who has.  They phone & instantly my cell shows View Call.  I would never return their call as it is certainly a scam and I may be billed.  As long as their are lobbyists in Washington and companies that spring up overnight in offices with rented furniture, this will prevail.  Several weeks ago, 3 calls--2 while I was driving on I-95. One of these calls stated it was pertaining to a bill for someone (foreign) they were trying to locate--the # 800-346-0775 was automated.

You are absolutely correct. I work for one of the largest insurance companies there is and that other idiot has no clue what he is talking about. We process claims based on contract benefits and if the group does not have benefits for specific services, we deny them accordingly. Good looking out. I can't stand people who just like to gripe about healthcare just to jump on the mainstream bandwagon.

pay your bill and they will quit calling

Tenet is associated to many hospitals and do collections as well.  try applying for any medical position and see where it takes you........TENET!  I just got a call from them todya as I owe them money.  so they do the collections for such hospitals as well, perhaps not all of them, but a good pertion of them.

From what I understand, this is a company that handles billing for a lot of hospitals. They should be fired. They are awful. Yes, no one answers. I left message after message. I never received a call back. It has been 10 months now, and my account is not correct; and I started calling right away. Originally, I left messages for Account Specialist Joe S ext 6322 at 800-346-0775. He never called me back once to get my account corrected, but he did send my account to collections 866-486-6967 or 866-904-6871. Finally, with the hospitals help, I got a live person. She gave me Duane Robinson direct line 1-469-365-8417. Duane is Joe S. ext 6322 supervisor. I left messages for him too. I never got a call. This is no way to run a business. 10 months later the hospital and physicians still have not been paid because they cannot answer their phone or return messages to get my account correct in order to bill the insurance company. THEY SHOULD BE FIRED!!!

Said it was s.t mary's medical about a bill. It was a recorded message and I wanted to talk to a customer service representative but then they hung up. Caller I'd said 800 service.

Well I would pay them if i actually owed them anything. but i dont!

OUT OF AREA (caller id ) call from this number 1-800-346-0775 robocall looking for some person saying it's Los Alamos Medical Center out of New Mexico that's not a Medical issue. NEVER been to New Mexico or know anyone in New Mexico .and don't owe any Medical Bills, something doesn't sound right here.

This number calls my house serveral times daily from 8 am to as late as 9:30 pm - never leaves message & most of the time they hang up after 3 rings

It's a billing company. Mostly medical billing.  They are calling you about some bill for a doctor, hospital, lab, or other medical supply company.  There are different companies for different people because they don't just "bill" for one company or office.  You probably want to talk to them before it becomes a collections issue on your credit report.

This is a collection agency that handles medical billing for numerous hospitals.. If anyone has an outstanding hospital; bill that is who is calling you.....

I dont know what everyone is talking about, I called back this number and was asked some personal information.  I said I wouldn't give out my info with out knowing who I was speaking to.  The representative told me who they were calling on behalf of (Yes, a hospital and Yes, I do owe them money), she was nice and helped me set up a reasonable payment plan.  I would suggest calling them back, as far as debt collections goes, this one was pretty painless!
