The number is actually from the accounts dept. of the Tenent Group of hospitals. FDCP regulations state you can actually tell them to stop calling you, you must state that you want them to 'Cease and Desist' all phone calls. You then need to follow that up with a letter saying the same. But you have to give them an alternat way to contact you. The best way is to tell them from now on the only way they can contact you is by land mail. They then have to follow the law and do that. Always remember to get the name of the person who contacted you. Legally they only have to give you a first name, but also get their agents number. They all have to have one. They are allowed to call you from 8am to 9pm local time and several times a day. So it is very important to follow up your request to stop calling you with a letter. Make sure that it has to be signed for, that way they can not deny having received it. If after they have received the request letter and you have the proof that it was received you can state they are making an illegal attempt to collect from you and are breaking FDCP regulations, which they all have to adhere to. You should then tell them they are making an 'HPC', a 'High Profile Call' and you can ask for a supervisor and tell them that. After that all phone calls should stop. Just FYI this applies to all debt collection agencies, except for some of the more sleezy companies that by old debts. They really have no guide lines to follow and will try whatever means they can. You can still do the same procedure as I suggested above. Other wise call your phone company or look on there web site on how to block incoming calls from their number. I received a phone call from this number at 3:30pm. I did not answer it. They left a voicemail. They claimed to be from the business office of a local hospital. I blocked my number and called the number back and at first, the automated system sounded legit. However, when a "representative" answered the phone, he said that this was the business office and when I       asked "This is the business office of what company?". He paused for a few seconds and then stated the name of the local hospital. I said "okay, thank you." I then hung up. I searched for the business office number of the REAL business office of the local hospital. I called that hospital directly and asked them about the number that called me and the lady told me that that is not their business office number. In short, I called the real hospital directly and she confirmed that the number that called me was not THEIR business office.

who knows? they call my cell phone, I pay by the minute. I'm not going to pay to wait to hear their schpiel, whatever it is.

I have received repeated calls from this Anaheim, CA Hospital. Medical Bill Collection Agency over the past 2 years. I receive messages to return their calls for collection bills for a Ross William Williamson. I call back speak to a supervisor and say I have no relationship to this man and the cell phone number they are calling belongs to me a female. They agree to stop calling and do for about 6 weeks then the calls start again. I am told they can not give the name of their collection agency because I am NOT Ross William Williamson! After 2 years worth of calls today I finally called back and said I was the scum bags girlfriend...I was told they are a bill collector for many hospitals nationwide and the Houston Hospital they were representing was Northwest Medical. They said only Northwest Medical who provided my incorrect phone number could stop them from calling my wrong number!  I called a supervisor at Northwest Medical center and had them put in a request to remove my cell phone number. Next move is to sue in small claims court for harassment,

This is not Good Samaritan Hospital. I called them directly and they never heard of this number.

No one here is calling you.  Call blocker is your best bet and do not pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

Getting calls from this number, never leaving message. When I called the number, there was not a way to talk with someone without a 4-digit code.

They work for a lot of other hospitals and clinics, too. Mine was a hospital in Houston. That hospital is part of the Tenet Health Care network of hospitals, which are found all over the US and the UK.

I just recieved a call from this number. I owe nothing to anybody. I did not answer this call.

The phone went to voicemail after one ring. When I listened to the message, a recording stated that it was Houston Northwest Medical Center's Business Office. They are a part of the Tenet Health System.

The 1 800 346 0775 just left message saying its the buisness office of piedmont which is hospital in rock hill sc they asking for my mom and their automatic can't pronounce her name right but they asking for a dead person now and if they want the money she owed they need to go get it from their hospitalist who talked to my mom like she was trash and did not want to treat her so they need to get it from Dr lebliss but they call asking for her they know she is dead  she died in their Dr so they know they can not talk to her so this shows how stupid they are

Yes I can assure you it is tennent health care they only put money over your health care and they hand you a bill before you released as well they charge to much and you don't get good care there as my mom did not and when you complain they do not call back all they care about is money they are tennent for sure and they can be rude and ugly

Just block the number. If it's legit, they'll send you a bill in the mail.

Collection agency harrassing me about a co-pays to ER that they did not collect during my visit. I have made payments to the account as my disability check has allowed. NO REASON FOR COLLECTIONS TO BE MADE!!!

If this is a third party debt collector then you have certain rights.  If this is the hospital calling then they are the original creditor and you only have rights in 5 states.  No one here seems to even know who is calling.
