called west coast at 7:37am, not a real call, no message left

Went to VM: Robo credit card interest rate scam.

No message, and do not have a Discover card, so no idea

SCAM ALERT !  Repeat spoofing robocall with spoof # 800 347-2683  and call ID  DISCOVER Calls at  9 am.  WON’T LEAVE MSG. ! Report the scam straight away ! It's easy ! Immediately report to N*m*robo and FTC then block call.

This is a scam call spoofing the discover phone number.  They try to get your card info promising you lower rates on MC, Visa and other cards.

Caller ID said "Discover" so I answered and it was the lower my credit interest rate. Indian or Pakistani accent. I gave them some four letter Americal words and hung up.

I got the same call just moments ago did the same thing with some foul language and then hung up

This number called the office over the weekend when nobody was here.  There was a partial message on the answering machine for 0% credit card interest.

If this is one of Discover's numbers, then I suspect the number is spoofed.

calling me about my discover card balance, funny thing is, I don't have a discover card!!! Definitely a scammer

Calls, no messages   Do not have any account with them. So no reason there to call

Have had several calls from this # saying they were from Discover and offered to lower my interest rates. I do have a Discover card and the telephone # is similar to the Genuine Discover. I have never known the genuine company to do any telemarketing. I am trying to contact the company directly to find out what's going on.

So I got another call on my answering machine from Bank of America to lower my credit card interest this morning. Why in the world would Bank America be using Discover phone number, unless this was a scam. Please get a life. I get this call at least three time a day every day.

Call ID stated "DISCOVER" but it was the typical "lower your credit card interest rate" fraud / scam.

Scam scam scam scam scam. Same as everyone, robocall with a fake callerid with a scam offer to lower credit card rates. Go look at page 1 - this has been going on for over 10 freaking years and no one has done anything to stop it. That's simply infuriating!

Same experience as many of the other posts.  CID says "Unknown".

Received too many calls from this number

I received a call from this number on a Google voice number I only use to send faxes, and I don't frequently give out the number. Nor do I have a discover card, so I wouldn't expect to receive an unsolicited call purporting to be from the company. This is undoubtedly a scam.
