Confirmed by Discover Card... this is NOT one of their phone numbers

Called and left no message. CID said "Discover" but we don't have a Discover card at all, so why should they be calling us?

called me and left no voicemessage . I called back and costumer service said "Discover financial services " but we don't have a Discover card.

Caller id said "DISCOVER" - The old scam, please press 1 to lower your interest rate. We don't even have Discover. Taken lots of IT security classes, it's so easy for scammers to purchase 800#s. This same number has been used for all kinds of scams since 2007. 25 pages of complaints here! They are plain evil.

Sorry, it wasn't a silent call as I said above, hit the wrong thing, it was a scammer.

Press 1 for credit expert, pressed 1 and a guy from India starts talking, Hung up.

I, too, just got a call from this number and it shows up as DISCOVER.  It rang 3 times and then hung up.  I'd say this was a "fishing" call.  With all the virus misery that's going on in our world here in the U.S. these people ought to be ashamed of themselves.  If you get a call from this number (800) 347-2683 just don't answer.  They don't let it ring long enough to let it go to voicemail.  I think that's our best defense. What a bunch of idiots they are.

This same phone number has been harassing people for over 12 years. Look it up here on 800. Every fake scam from Bank of America, political calls, to Discover card! These scammers from India are relentless and plain evil. Look up the good guy Jim Browning on YouTube, how he has videos of these evil people laughing at the elderly people they've just scammed. I got the CPR5000 gadget, it's on Amazon. I asked for it for Christmas and you hit that button and those SOBs are gone forever. The phone never rings once or never goes to VM, they can never call you again, to them your number is dead. Get this thing, I hardly get any calls anymore. My house is peaceful again and there's SO much pleasure in killing these bast**ds one call at a time.

Caller ID "Discover" Recording Wells Fargo We have been trying to reach you regarding lowering your credit card interest rates. This is your last call..."BS SCAM and another spoofed number. Told the man with a heavy Indian accent to get a real job, some morals and integrity and stop trying to scam people. Told him his parents are probably so proud of him trying to steal personal and confidential information. Just trying to appeal to his humanity but I am certain it was a wasted effort as these sick idiot jacka$$es will continue to call.

The scammers must be back at work - they are at it again - we do not answer - they left no message - we do not have this credit card.

Call to a cellphone, not answered.  Another website tags this number as a debt-reduction scam.
