- ELLLFrom what I'm reading it's Comcast about an interruption of services overnight. So that's fine BUT why do they call AFTER business hours? This was on 4/24/18 @ 6:30 PM CT. The last # from 800 Services was a fake Comcast.
- Caller: Comcast Business?

- Go Awaycalled and just clicked. Have received other spoofed numbers with CID appearing to be comcast. In that one, they try to scam you into getting onto your computer claiming your "Norton" isn't updating. Am guessing this is the same scam, just new spoofed comcast number given I don't have Comcast and I'm not a business so there would be NO reason for comast to be calling me.
- Caller: comcast scam
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- TM replies to SuspiciousDefinitely a scam. I just received a similar call. The caller mentioned two guys' names and asked me if I recognized them. I said no. Then he tells me that they are using my network for illegal downloading. When I asked the caller for the name of the network, he hung up.
- CharleneThey called me this morning to also as one gentleman mentioned let me know that 2 men by the name of Thomas Dimetri and Russ Blake were attempting to use my network name. When he asked to go into my computer to help resolve it, I hung up. The phone ID gave the name of Comcast, but I called Comcast and it is a bogus call. Beware.
- Caller: said they were from Comcast

- Comcast customerReceived several calls from this scam. This is a spoof of the Comcast Customer Support number. They claim the Internet connection is compromised and they need remote access to the computer hard drive to fix the internet connection. Din’t Fall for it! String them along on the call long enough to waste their time and they eventually hang up.
- Caller: Spoof call-not Comcast
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- FSCalling Comcast to report this will not help, the easiest thing to do is just to block the number. These are scammers who *spoof* their number to +18003913000, which is Comcast.
But it actually is fake caller ID, guy with a heavy accent identified himself as Comcast/Xfinity, was in a loud call center, and eventually told me to "F* off you M-Fer" when I told him I don't have a computer. BTW they had my correct first name, so some "legit" company is reselling contact info, names and numbers.- Caller: *not* Comcast/Xfinity
