Called at 7:03 AM. Thank goodness they were blocked.

Caller speaking Indian language only!!!

Has called my mobile phone 3 days in a row, shows as an "unknown" number, so I let it go to voicemail, but never have left a message.

If it is Comcast Business, I already have that, my contact is the same mobile number they're calling, so no reason for them to be reluctant to leave a message if it is a real business-relateAd call rather than a scam or spamming call.

Called, asked for me by first name.  Said they had identified some problems with my computer.  I am not a business and the call supposedly came from business tech support.  Caller had strong accent.  Is someone spoofing this number?

Called my land line - caller id said not provided - did not leave a message.  I never answer unknown numbers and I have blocked it.

While there may be some actual Comcast calls made from this number, it appears that all of those are related to upcoming outages. With voice over IP, scammers can pretend to be this very same entity and use it to try and scam you, which is what they attempted to do to us.

Keeps calling me and saying there are problems with my network. The caller speaks in heavily accented English, and I do not trust anyone who calls me making assertions like this. I suspect it's a scam, so I've stopped answering at all.

Finally picked up on this phone number, and they said that they were Comcast. I have never had Comcast  or Xfinity ever, and I have had this cell phone number for over 20 years.  After reading 800Note reviews, I looked up the number.  It associated w Comcast Business (https://business.comcast.com/help-and-support/contact-us).  Called them and Explained situation.   She Kindly put The number on The their do not call list.

Not Comcast business services. Scam #, trying to pretend to be Comcast

Received a call to our land line from this number today (18 Mar 2020). No name displayed on the caller ID. I answered out of curiosity. There was a male voice on the other end. He spoke in a manner which made me think English was not his first language. He said he was calling in behalf of Comcast and their system had crashed. I told him we did not subscribe to Comcast, hung up, and blocked the number from calling again. Scam.

What more is there to do than block and perhaps report to FCC?

Of course, it is probably thieves spoofing Comcast number. Today when they called, CID stated potential scam.  Blocked.  Not that that will do any good.

I have an answering machine for these types of calls, but this particular caller COMCAST from 800-391-3000 does not leave a message.   So if there is no message it must not be of any importance.

Sorry these scammers did this to you. You would think that real Comcast business would at least change their phone number. But I guess the scammers would start spoofing the new number...Hope things go better and that more people know/learn about these scammers.

Person stated they were calling from Comcast.  A Satellite was down and they needed to reinstate my Comcast services. Informed them nothing was wrong with my services and as a former Comcast employee this is not the process used if there is an issue. Blocked the number.
