- AndrewI've started getting calls from this number as well. Thank you all for putting these posts here. Now I know I should ignore it as a likely fraud attempt.
- SantyI am getting call from the same number since last 2 -3 days. No message.
- clsconstant calls at least 4 times a day or more. My accounts are always current. I'm sick of there calls.
- EdwinThese Idiots call here 25 times a day asking for a Jimmy Man.
Finally I told the lady this morning to stop prank calling my house and she said sir this is not a prank call i am looking for Jimmy Man. I told her that person does not exist and to please stop calling every hour. She said she would call back tomorrow so I hung up on her.
After that happened I called the number back 1-800-395-2274 then I waited for a customer service rep to answer I told her to remove my number from their list of people because Jimmy Man does not exist, so lets hope this is the end of those calls.- Caller: HSBC Card Services
- LorThey call my cell at least 5x/day. When I answer, they ask me to hang on "for a very important message, but all of our operators are busy" yeah, right, I'm going to waste my minutes on these creeps. Seems to me that most posting here state it's about a credit card. Well, since I don't have any, this is clear and present harrassment. I called and told them them to cease the harrassment and they gave me a name of someone that is associated with my cell #, I have no idea who this person is and they said they'd take me off the list...we'll see! I've had this number for over a year...weird. I am also on the do not call list, but I gues it doesn't work in these cases.

- cmI have been receiving calls from this # and one of this company's other numbers for the past 6 months. I have talked with the reps who are looking for Laura Brown. They repeated tell me they will take this # off their lists. An hour later, they are calling again. My cell phone is registered to a large corporation for which I work. I have put it on the do not call list. They won't stop calling

- Tired of these callsI answered the phone and they hung up. The next day I answered the phone again and after the third hello some women answer saying they were looking for someone. I told them that the person was not available and if they wanted to leave a message. She said "tell me when you are ready." After that I heard really weird noises and nothing happened.
This number calls 4 times a day everyday. - dthey keep calling my sons cellphone &he's not old enough to have a credit card
- CristApparently they are still at it. Have had 4 phone calls in the last 2 days. When I answer, I get a message that says Hold for an important message. 3 times the system then hung up. The forth time, they asked for someone I never heard of. When I asked them to identify themselves, they refused. Is there anything other than filing a complaint (which I did) which can be done?
- ruth rayi am sick of these calls
- JonathanThey call constantly day and night and there seems to be no end in sight, and I doubt reporting them here will help either as they have been doing this for years. But I wish someone would get on this.
- LaLaToday I had six calls from them since eight in the morning until almost nine at night. It's really annoying.
- army wifeyGOt SEVERAL (im talking at least 25) calls. Each time, I waited for operator, which in turn asked for someone else (i assumed it was a wrong number. I have no account with them!) Told them REPEATADLY that they had the wrong number, to take my number off their list. After about a week, calls stopped. Now (about a month later) calls have returned. Again, each time, asking for someone different. Im now going to report them. Glad I found this website!

- SMCLADY| 3 replies1-800-395-2274 Thhis number is a total pain in the ass.
8:20 this morning they started calling. We let the answering machine get it.
they will not talk.
sUNDAY THEY CALLED ABOUT 5 TIMES. - missyHave been calling my land line many times during last two weeks.
I gave up answering since no one answers. I am glad I found this
website tonight and since this appears to be a scam, will never answer
or call back and give information. Best thing to do is call customer
service # on back of credit card to check account. The calls seem to
come more frequently every day, will try suggestions posted to stop it - hate credit cardsThis company is HSBC. They have a caller-id system which is why you don't hear anybody when you first pick up - it is supposed to route immediately to the first available rep. Normally credit card companies have a separate number for collections, and this number is for collections, I know because I am 1 month behind on payment, and overlimit. That always triggers a lot of phone calls. This company also specializes in sub-prime lending, which means they take a greater risk, and hence have greater collection activity. Now some of you are saying you don't have an account with them, so I'm not sure why you are receiving phone calls, but just wanted you to be aware of the auto-dialers. I used to work for a credit card company, and this is standard procedure, although HSBC is more agressive about collections than some of the bigger mainstream credit companies.
