- very angryI get about 10 calls from them a day. Even on sundays. This is on my cell phone. I don't have accounts with them, and they are asking for a Beth. I don't know this woment I have no idea how they recieved my number. I am more than angry about this. It is very annoying. I can't stand it anymore. I was not a do not call list because it was my cell phone. I have now requested to be on the do not call list but I can't file a complain until I have been registered for 31 days. I was trying to avoid changing my number. If there is any other way to stop this that someone might know of. Please help.

- 800-395-2274Ellen,
That's the best thing to do. Talking to HSBC will get you NOWHERE.
I have already posted my experience with these Corporate Criminals on this and other websites, and the best thing to do with them is to send a Cease Communication letter (VIA certified mail, with return receipt requested) and tell them to GET LOST. If they continue calling after they have received your letter, report them to the FDCPA and your State's AG office for harassment.

They will ask for your name and number and verify in the database that you are not the person they are looking to collect from. Then they will e-mail that info the the collection department. At that point they are supposed to stop the calls. Well see

- KTMThis is one of several phone numbers that allegedly belongs to HSBC/Household Bank. I have received phone calls from this number for several months now from 8:00 a.m. until about 8:00 p.m. every day - including Sundays and holidays - totally at least 20 phone calls per day. I do not have an account with this company and never intend to after this harassment. I am also on the Do Not Call Registry.
Another phone number they use is 800-684-8429.- Caller: HSBC
- Xanaduthey call about 6-7 times a day - and leave no message.
- Dr. JohnI have about had it with these idiots. At HSBC. Back in May someone in France came up with my personal information and was using my card on Amazon France and some other site in France, did not know about it until I went to use my card in early June and it didn’t work. I called HSBC to find out what was going on, they stated that they were trying to get a hold of me and my phone did not work, since I had just moved and sent them my new phone number to them when I paid the last bill I found that to be a very poor excuse on there part.
I was then transferred to the fraud dept were I learned of the problem, the woman I spoke to said they were very knowable about this problem. Since I have never used this card on line for anything someone must have tapped into there computer and get my information and God knows who else, seems they have some issues regarding personal information they need to addressed,. They had my new address and phone number for over a month at the time I spoke to them and they still had not undated my account, so I got that resolved when I was on the phone. She stated that they would be sending me a form to sign and send back regarding the fraud charges, about 2 weeks later I got the form, signed it sent it back. Now it’s mid September I still have not had the charges removed, since I called them in June I have received anywhere from 6-10 per day, 7 days a week. I have caller ID I come home from work find the number 4-5 time, no messages left on my answering machine, another 3-4 calls before the night is over. If you are a legal company then you have no reason not to leave a message unless you are doing something illegal. If they can’t leave a message they won’t get an answer. My bill is always paid on time and never late, I expect, no not expect demand the same curtsey in return, if the fraud charges are not removed my October 1st, I will file a complaint with the government no questions asked.- Caller: HSBC
- BuddhaCall from 8:00 am till 9:00 pm 3 calls with different number or blocked number. So I had enough I tried to call back ask for them to ID finaly got one to say Card Services. Told them to take name off list lady said no problem would do. Well dam 6 more calls that day and has not stopped yet.
Watch for something wrong here: First time I dialed back a recorded voice ask for my account number since I did not know company do I give all my accounts NO's.. I kept hitting 0 number got a human she gave me all info and said my number would be removed as above statement. The or her did not know why I was called because I gave no account numbers what would have happen if I had. I am 69 and not putting up with this all day my local telephone company has service extra that will block all calls not ID'ed even if a friend it will give a message to unlock there phone's and my phone will ring other words I will hear nothing hate to do to friends.
Going to it Monday... HeHe to them.. This week end no phones on in house all turned off and use cell phone. NEVER, NEVER give your cell number to anyone one in a business ONLY CLOSE FRIENDS or there will get it also.- Caller: Card Service

- RedheadIf you are getting calls from 1-800-395-2274, it is from HSBC Credit card services. So call 1-800-385-8916. Just keep pressing 0 again and again and finally you will get a person to talk to.
Demand that they remove your phone number from the list.
They will ask you for your social security number and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SS NUMBER.
JUST KEEP DEMANDING THAT THEY REMOVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER FROM THEIR CALL LIST AND THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM.
Contact the Federal Trade Commission if they continue to harass you.- Caller: HSBC

- js9406I've been getting calls from this number 5-10 times a day, and they won't leave a message. I have an account with HSBC but it's not delinquent or anything. I'm getting married next week and I have two little babies to take care of so it's driving me crazy that they keep calling. Next time they call I'm going to answer and tell them if they keep it up I'm canceling my account with them.
