- bhdbl replies to Lt. Pete MitchellI was called every day fro the past 2 wks. thanks for provide this number, she was nice, and she said my number will be removed
- SVWCThese people have been relentless in calling every day and there is never anyone on the line. We do have call display. We are on the DNC registry and have never been customers of Rogers. Took posters advice and have just filed a complaint with the gov't do not call registry, using the link they provided in a post. Thank you for that link - will hopefully work and stop these incessant calls. Thank you.
- AlMy number was registered on the national do not call list within weeks of its establishment. After getting numerous calls from 800-395-8813, I registered complaints through the DNCL web site. I also followed the advice in an earlier post on this site by opting out of all direct marketing on the Rogers web site (I have Rogers cable service, unfortunately they have a monopoly).
All of this was done months ago, I continue to get calls from this (and only this) telemarketer, sometimes several times a day.- Call type: Telemarketer
- pissed offThe number is from a company called Gemma Communications which is a Rogers Communications affiliate, all you have to do is either answer the phone or call them back and just follow the prompts to have your number added to their no calling list within 24 to 48 hours.

If you have a Rogers account and a username/password for their website, you can opt out of their telemarketing there. You must CHECK (as opposed to uncheck) the boxes for the ways you DON'T want to be contacted. Kind of backwards and confusing that way, but I'm guessing that's on purpose. One of the tabs is labelled "Telemarketing".
Hope it helps, I've been getting 3-4 calls per day, lets see if they stop now.- Caller: Rogers/Gemma Communications

- NormI received about 20 calls from them about 2 minutes apart and there was no answer each time, I guess the call gets shuffled to an operator when they are free, but the dead air caused me to hang up. Unfortunately the machine continues to call to try to get someone, and eventually someone actually did speak to me. I asked to be removed from their calling list, and I haven't had any calls since, but I'm never giving my information to another magazine, or online business without some sort of assurance that they won't use my information against me. I'm thinking of giving up my business line for a cell phone that isn't listed anywhere.

Today they offered me to delete my number from there list but the numbers they made me confirm was not even my ou their number.... Is there a way to stop those people !!!!!

- Kids AnswerConstantly call throughout the day. From the call display, I have my 2 young kids (under 12) answer to practice their communication and social skills to build their confidence.
Why get so upset from calls you can't stop? You might as well find some benefits and have some fun at their expense.- Caller: Gemma Communications

- Simply AmazedI complained to Roger’s directly last week. They confirmed the 1-800 number that I referenced was their agent’s and how important my complaint was, blah blah, blah...
Rogers advised that, assuming that I opted out of their direct marketing via their website correctly, it can take three weeks to get my phone number removed from their agent’s call list. I opted out months ago and rechecked to confirm what was on my marketing permissions profile was accurate.
They continue to phone at random times during the day. Another complaint for the DNCL...- Call type: Telemarketer
- RazorHave been getting calls every day from this number. So I called it back, got an automated response. Pressed 1 and got a "if you want to be removed from this call list press 1". So I pressed 1 and got the "thank you for adding your number to our Do Not Call list" message. Hopefully this stops the calls....

- Mr. S SReceived a call today to my business line. Saw that it was a toll-free number calling. Didn't say anything (put the phone on mute so they won't hear the background office noises). All I heard was "hello, hello" - "bonjour", "hello?"
Darn it, they're bilingual !!!
Anyway, had a good chuckle.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Never Stop CallingEveryday these clowns call and continue to ignore their calls. I've had a few slip ups and accidently picked up. They never stop and hate everything about Rogers for sending these idiots onto their own customers. Don't think Bell is any better, they also use agents to constantly call.
- Caller: Gemma Communication
- mandyThis call comes at least once every day sometimes twice a day
- No Stoppage Even On WeekendsThey always call and will not stop. I've accepted this a part of the day and don't even pickup when their 800 number is displayed.

- HeeterThis is call from Gemma, an outsource of Roger's. I simply labelled this contact number as "[***]"...so when they call... that's the contact name that shows and I don't answer it.

- Yes. replies to unghuhUnghuh, verily speaks the truth. Indeed, we should try to make people understand that the so called "no call list" is bunk. It's a just a way for them to confirm that a human being is attached to that number/email. Plus, never EVER give information to any 1800 number EVER. Credit card info, birth date, address, SIN/Social, health card...whatever! NEVER EVER give this to a disembodied voice on your telephone or cellphone. You'll save yourself from alot of hassle and possible ID theft. Make sure you screen your calls...any number you don't recognize don't pick up...simple as that.
I've recently been getting calls from the number listed in this thread and I haven't yet picked up and never will. Thank goodness for 800notes.com you guys are a freakin' life saver and save me money from not having to deal with telemarketers and advertisers! :D
