recieved voice mail stating they were a debt collection agency neediding to collect a debt for 255.15 and said to call number 1-800-405-5085 and enter credit card info. tried calling to get info cause am not in default with anything but could not get anything but a recording saying call back some other time.

I'm very handicapped so it's hard for me to rush to the phone.  These people call three or four times a day at all hours.  They don't speak but ask me to put in my account number?  They never say who they are so what account number are they talking about!  This is nothing but harrassment and the phone company tells me I can't block 800 numbers,why not my phone number is unlisted and only my family knows it.

got a text from 1800-405-5085 said please call they want u to pay ur bill with credit card and wont tell u what the bill is for i found out its a collection agency that works for excell they refused the name ...

This number claims to be a collection agency for us cellular I called uscelluar and they said it is not their collection agency so LOOK OUT!!! who you give you information to.

I got a call from this number claiming I owed money to PGE on the behalf of my husband who died in October. I knew the account was all paid up, and I was warned by another widow about collection agencies preying on widows. I double-checked with PGE and the account is all paid up. This agency is scamming widows, a really reprehensible practice!

How about we all start calling them every day.  They can't make money on crank calls.

I came to US on Aug 10  because my husband is working in United States and got a new cell phone from AT&T last week in COSTCO. Definitely I never owe a penny to anyone within last few years in this country. However, I continue to get this freaky phone call around 8PM every day. I checked this number on the website and it seems this is a debt collector. I have tried to call back a few times and can not get through. What a horrible thing!
I guess it may be a cheater, like those notorious ones in Asia. They fake cases that your family members owe them money and request you to pay. Or there are some ways they can connect your phone line to international calls, which is very expensive, when you call them and press certain button on your phone. Be careful with this..never reply them.

They keep calling day after day leaving a message for someone who does not live here and has never lived here.  I will not return their calls, and I'm getting sick and tired of the calls.

I got a missed call from this number. I called back and they will not tell me who are they, all they said is that the company is for personals matters.

They have called my phone 3 times over the past two days asking for someone who does not live here.
When I called them back and told them that, they said that they had the wrong number.  When I expressed concern that they person that they were asking for might have other information such as my address or social security #, the person on the line refused to tell me what it was for.  Thank you for posting all of your information.  At least I know what it is for now.

Multiple calls on multiple dates.  State they are trying to contact a person named "Adrian XYZ", someone I have never heard from.  When I recognize the number and hang up they will call and leave several voicemails.  I have tried calling back but get nothing but a tone.  

Tried calling the company as ID'd in an earlier post but, as it is Sat no luck.

All of the people on here need to read this....Have any of you ever been a bill collector? my guess is you haven't! If the company is calling and its a wrong number, do them a favor and call back or pick up the phone and let them know its a wrong number. You cant sit there and dis on them when you all know that all you do is pick up the phone then hang up without saying a word!!!
  They will not give you attitude unless you give it first! they are human and don't deserve to be treated the way they do! they are just trying to pay there bills like the rest of us!! they are not the one that made the debt! YOU ARE! Also stop cussing at them, stop threatening to kill there family, stop telling them how dumb and stupid they are, don't tell them what to do with your body parts! DO ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT WHAT ITS LIKE FOR THEM TO DEAL WITH THAT ON A DAILY BASIS WHEN ALL THEY ARE DOING IS THERE JOB???
IE: The teller at a bank...is it their fault that you had an overdraft on your account?
IE: The Repo Guy...Is it his fault that you didn't pay your car payment?
IE...THE BILL COLLECTOR... HOW COULD IT POSSIBLY THEIR FAULT YOU DIDN'T PAY YOUR BILL????

THINK ABOUT THIS NEXT TIME YOU GO ON A RAMPAGE DISCRIMINATING, DEGRADING, SAYING STUFF THAT YOU WOULDN'T EVER SAY TO SOMEONE IN YOUR FAMILY, THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND PUT THE BLAME ON SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF!!!

Then why is it that so many people get calls from supposed collection companies when they owe nothing??? There are some people out there who are pretending to be bill collectors when they are really after people's credit card and/or bank info so that they can commit illegal activities with someone else's info. Welcome to the real world!!!

I get this call everyday and it does the same thing-a robot voice want me to call back and once I called this number there's another voice said that I don't have any note at this time...?? very confused and very annoying

the point is, its not the bill collectors fault, so why take it out on them? if you don't believe the company is real, do a little research. i think its just another excuse. so if you went to Menards and they didnt have the item you wanted, would you yell at the employee and call them every name in the book? Im in the real world Suki, trying to make a living to feed my family!
