The caller stated he was with Windows checking our computer

I just checked with their fraud department and was told that this is not their number.

This is a most sophisticated scamming operation. I just called the fraud department of Bank of America and was told that this isn't their number. No wonder that you were scammed.

I just received an e-mail telling me there is an in-coming voice mail with the number 800-432-1000 from BoA.  There was no voice, as I had suspected. This is a scam.  It shows they are working the e-mails in addition to phones.

My iPhone made this phone call by itself  twice.NOT ME I DIDN'T DIAL THIS NUMBER....something its wrong with my iPhone

this guy called my friend and he gave him all his info and then he called the bank number witch is the 1800 432 1000 number and he got the same info???? I havnt a clue whats going on but thank you for guys for putting up the info here!!

Yes, this number is on the back of our Bank of America card.

I have a checking acct. with B of A and so does my daughter. This number is listed on the back of the debit card as customer service. Asks for last 4 of Debit no. And last 4 of SSN I have had unauthorized transactions for quite awhile and I have some fraud I need to report but the agent gave me an 877 no. To call for fraud. I have not called as I feel it is a scam

People, please realize that scammers do routinely spoof legit numbers. If you're unsure if a call is legit or not, hang up and call the number on the back of your card-if they say that, yes, they did call you, then it's legit. If not, you've most likely just avoided being scammed

Claimed to be Bank of America fraud dept. Voice mail says to call 888-431-6262.  Real BOA says it is scam!!!

It is Bank of America! The people on here saying it is some kind of scam or fraud are the scammers. Or at least misleading you. Don't listen to them! This is a legitimate number.

for all of you clowns crying scam scam, its a bank.  its bank of america, and this is a call center so some dude from abudhabi is probably being paid on behalf of them to call your delinquent behind because thats just how things work.  i feel like most of you probably owe lots of companies money, probably for payday loans like the scabby things you are,  so everything is a scam to you.  Google the damn number next time and read between the lines.

The caller ID on my phone came up as Bank of America.  This foreigner said they were with Senior Services.  I asked him if he was Bank of America and he said No.  I told them not to call me again.  Tried to call BOA but that was a huge hassle and impossible to get through.

Caller was from outside USA. Male caller wanted to give me a loan. Pretended to be from Bank of America. I've never done business with B of A.  I told caller this was a DO NOT CALL number and please remove me from their call list.  He hung up.  Legitimate companies usually will promise to remove you from their call list. I'm pretty sure this was a scammer.

Called 7/6/@ 11:57A also called cell # @ 11:58A.  The phone number is spoofed so it looks like BofA's real # and calling it back gets you to BofA's call in #.  BofA says the caller is trying to get information so just don't give it out.

East Indian caller with spoofed BofA number tried to sell me funeral insurance.  I gave him and earful, hung up and blocked the number.  I called BofA to report, and they are aware of the problem with this number.
