- Annoyed| 1 replyThe SAME guy keeps calling over 5 times a day EVERYDAY! this started 4 days ago. It's annoying and before I can say anything he says "I call you back later...." and hangs up
- Wrong NameWhen they called they said the wrong first name so I told them that person doesn't live here. I hope that stops them from calling.
I do have an HSBC Credit card for Best Buy and I'm not behind in payments at all. As a matter of fact I got my statement today and it specifically as it ALWAYS states. I have NO Past Due Amount.
I've missed a payment with Capital One and they called repeatedly even after I made payment. Most collectors don't have your actual live account information.
Even if you owe. DON'T do any transaction with these people. Who knows if they're even in the U.S. Never give your address or any information. These people are collectors not HSBC. It's scary how credit card companies outsource your accounts for payments and collections.
Just tell them that you're going to pay today or the checks in the mail. Hopefully that'll get them to stop calling you.- Caller: HSBC
- Call type: Debt collector
- Wrong Name replies to AnnoyedThat's F*&^ing messed up that they hang up when you answer and actually say that they'll call back.
- grams60this call keep coming in. don't know who this person is.think this call is coming in from hsbc. told thim i don't want that insurance. what can i do to stop this call?

- Ron in houstonTXHave been getting calls from this number, 800-446-1022, over the past couple of weeks, I guess. I like the idea of taking the phone off the hook until it disconnects. The fax signal idea, I'm not too sure about. What if they detect it as a fax, and start trying to send in fax ads? I don't know...it still might work, too. They never leave a message. I'll still report it to the national do not call registry which I've been with for about 2 years now. caller Type I suspect it's a tele-marketer.
- berneitaSomeone with this # calls here everyday about 5 times a day. It must stop.
- Kelly replies to Dawn| 1 replyDawn,
This is the same call I get. I am not late on my payments either but they call like clockwork every Friday night at 8:30pm. This is rediculous to me.
I guess I will call and ensure I'm taking off their call list. - Kelly replies to KellyDawn,
I called the number back and did option #2 as well. Hopefully it works!
Thanks,
Kelly - Kelly replies to ZachCall the number back and dial Option 2. Enter your phone number and they will take it out of their system. It takes up to 30 per their recording but its a start.
Kelly - JC replies to Helpful infoOk Faith....we get the message.
- bogarti get a phone call from this number more than 5-10x per day or more.
- ARi called hsbc and reported this number they say this is NOT HSBC i got a call on my phone number i have only had 3 weeks and HSBC DOESN'T HAVE FOR ME THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!!!!! HSBC SAYS THIS IS A SCAM NOT THEM!!!!!!!!
- AA replies to faithThat's exactly what I do. I actually enjoy it instead of letting it bother me. Call all you want HSBC, you'll never speak to a soul! :)
Morons, to say the least. - MissyI just got a call from this # at 8:35 a.m. and of course they do not leave a message. I was not happy, I had stayed up late and was still in bed. I called the # back and got recording this is about your HSBC card and to call the # on the back of the card or 2 to remove your #. I then called HSBC and spoke to Sheryl who wanted to verify all the info on my acct which I had to enter to talk to someone in the first place. Then she says it c/b a 3rd party. Wrong this to say, I said this is a privacy issue then. I pay my bal in full every month, so it wasn't a collection call. If i do get a call back from the #, I will definitely answer and give them an ear full.
- Caller: HSBC
- MJDSick of it. Can not understand them in the first place. Give an American name but must be from TIMBUCKTOO. A HSBC policy for theft or whatever!!!

I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER FOR ONE MONTH. I TOLD THEM I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM AND THEY CONTINUE TO CALL SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. I HAVE REQUESTED THAT MY NUMBER BE REMOVED FROM THEIR TELEMARKETING LIST AT LEAST 20 TIMES BUT YET THE CALLS CONTINUE.- Caller: HSBC
- TexasFireGuy replies to jimjamThis is not solely a collection number. My account has a zero balance and they still called me today and left no message. When I called back I was given a menu of options to choose from. I chose the option that involved hanging up and ignoring them.
- shelteredI also use a whistle. Even if it's automated the sound throws the system off. It seems to be working so far.It might hurt your ears but it stops the calls.
- JohnNon Stop calling
- RICH A.Calls everyday like clockwork. Doesn't want to talk to answering machine. They must not know about Caller ID. If I'm bored I will try "answer and let it sit for a bit trick". I am on both Do Not Call Lists.
