Your theory about T mobile is probably incorrect. I have "never" ever had any dealings with them, & I am getting these calls too. But I am not even going to be bothered by them @ all... because i don't answer my phone unless I "see" it is someone I know & or they leave a message 1st, telling me who they are & what they want. Not going to be bothered by these people who have nothing better to do with their lives. I looked it up this time outta curiosity & i'm going back to my philosophy of "Not Even Bothering" or "Being Bothered"1 :-)

That's exactly what's happening to me...a recycled number from Verizon and all I get is their debt collector and their children's school calling.  Be responsible, and at the very leas,t give your kid's school the correct emergency contact info. Jeeze!

Not simple. They have multiple lines they call from.

I have no debt, but I have a very common last name, so when anybody with a name that's anywhere near mine runs into debt, I get the calls. My home number is besieged by these idiots who can't do their job and check facts...And they hang up after the first ring/no message. grrrrr

They call me and hang up too before I answer

Outrageous call n hangup. I put their wrong number ....mine in their list by reporting the wrong number by pressing 4. It did not work they still call n hangup.
I then called and hit 9 10 x and a person came on. I hung up and then did this repeated and will continue to do so anytime I'm bored with nothing to do do. They can see how it feels I wish i had their home numbers.
I don't have a debt they have the wrong number and don't care.

Caller said they were a Collection Agent and they wanted to know about my neighbor, I told them didn't have any neighbors as I live on a houseboat.
