I called this number this AM and got a live person, it is a collection agency looking for someone. I told them we have had this number for over 10yrs now and don't know/have never known a person by the name they are looking for. They took my number off of their list. (will take 24-48 hours to remove, automated call center)

They call everyday, sometimes twice a day, and I would like it to stop.

This is a debt collection agency, they called today and left a message for someone who does not have the number anymore (it's a cell). Have not yet called them back, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to have it removed from their list or not.

This number actually called my CELL# I did not answer for the fear of them attaching to my
number and running up the bill by using my number and account.
Aren't our cell numbers exempt from solicitors? Only immediate family and friends have my number.

Please stop calling me...I have had this number for about 3 years.  The person you are looking for probably had it prior to me.  You don't give me a chance to tell you this isn't a good number for a name sounding like Shawnee Nixon.

Called left VM.  Debt collector according to automated VM left on my phone.  Can someone verify.. please???

I do not have caller ID;
"This message is for..." then silence, nothing, maybe 30 seconds, then hangs up.
I tried pushing every button on the phone to try to connect to tell them I don't owe anyone anything!
ATT tells me even a debt collector must stop calling after they have been told to stop, 3 times, of they are violating some law, thats' about all I know.
PLUS this is not the only call of this type, I wonder if someone is using my number, and maybe more of my personal information.  Maybe this has something to do with a large number of inquiries into my credit reports?
ALSO, google 'zombie debt collectors' for some good information about collector practices, never admit to any debt, even if it went thu bankruptcy, arm yourself with knowlege

Mine was from a 'collections' agency but it's a scam.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. They want to take your credit card info by making you feel like you owe money. They will threaten to turn you over to collections and ruin your credit if you don't give them your info. Then they will take as much as they can. If they call you, and even give you a reference number, like they did me, don't call them back. Just keep hanging up.

We are not that person they are calling for. But they continue calling, they leave a # to call back, but they talk so fast and I never have pencil and paper in hand. It's a voice message that that leaves a voice message.
The number on the caller ID is not a number you can call back to.

This is Enhanced Recovery Systems,.a debt collector based in Jacksonville, FL. They specialize in credit cards and telephone company collections.

i got the same call today but they did leave a message that this call is for and then its blank air and then it says to call back at 1-800-496-8916 and gave a refernce number what i dont understand is that we dont owe anyone any money all of our bills are paid on time and are currant.

Holy crap these people need to stop effing calling me. They call EVERYDAY at 7-9 EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I smell fraud and scam please someone stop this company
