It is ERC - a collections agency.  Call the number back, hit "4" to speak with one of the phone zombies, and get removed from the list.

Have been receiving calls from this number recently.  It is always an automated computer voice talking and leaves a message on my voice mail telling me I owe a debt and they are Enhanced Recovery Company calling to collect the debt.  The web address it provides to find out more information is for a "Recycling Company," which is in no way shape or form a debt recovery company.  I recently pulled a copy of my credit report and see nothing on the report in reference to this company.  When a debt collector gets involved with collecting a debt, their agency name will show up on your credit report as being the ones collecting the debt.  So not sure what is up with these folks, but I am certainly not going to call them back after reading all the junk here about them.

I keep getting called for Vera Kennerson and I am not that person. Please stop calling 337-692-0388 or I will report you to the better business bureau. Thanks.

They call me once in awhile. Even sent a 'collection letter'. I never respond at all
to that kind of BS. I found out somehow that they are in Tennessee (Marion?).
I record their BS and tell them what they can do - extremely rudely. I'll keep doing that... maybe I'll drive up to their Tenn. address (when I find it again) and pay them a visit.

I've been receiving this call at my business for over 4 years even after I've told them they have the wrong number.  Since they refuse to take my number off the list I believe I'll publicly disclose what I know concerning their calls.  They are attempting to reach a Gloria Long, the recording asks for Victoria.  The original collector was Fast Cash Loans, they originally started calling. I am a third party not related to or even know the individual they are trying to contact.  This is important because they have disclosed personal information concerning her and the amount balance they are attempting to collect.   Very illegal to discuss personal information and debt claim with anyone other than the individual they claim holds responsibility.   So Gloria if you're reading this or anyone knows Miss Long tell her she has a law suit.  I'll be more than happy to help her in anyway I can.  They have violated her rights under the consumer protection laws and should face stiff penalties.

These morons called me today at 7:35 am.  They need to stop calling period

There are so many scams out there and these individuals are willing to chance breaking laws in an effort to scam hard working people out of their money. They bank on people getting nervous and paying up.

If people would remain calm and give thought to some of the things that they say.....really DO NOT have the power to send police after you to arrest you. No. 1 it is illegal for a collect to even state such a lie.

Additionally, if they are collectors, then it is already on your credit report (if you in fact owe them). There are some companies that purchases bad debts and hire people that are willing to be rude, abusive, and use threatening tones when making phone calls.

Here is a little secret:

When you answer and realize who they are - say this:

I am recording this conversation in case I need to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I am also documenting the time and phone number as well as your name. I am keeping a journal to support my recordings. If you continue these harassing phone calls I will file my complaint.

Now you may not get a chance to say all of the above because what often happens is they will hangup. It has worked every time for me. I have to tell you that the number of calls that I use to receive are now down to about 2 or 3 a day; and those calls simply hangs up.

Good luck. Don't stress about things you have no control over. It's not worth it. However; shame on those individuals that will take such a job knowing the current state of the economy. Karma is something else.

I bet you it is a fictitous address. Often times these companies setup camp and move around a lot because most of them are working out of their homes. I have done quite a bit of research and it is amazing at the outrageous amount of scams that are going on especially for collections or so-called collections.

Seriously people! Got that same call today, just a hang up! These [***] buy lists, and they know that the average person owes someone either now or in the past! I have also done the DONOT CALL THING on LANDLINE & CELL! I'm an IT person, here's what you do!
#1-If YOUR HOME WHEN THEY CALL, ANSWER IT AND KEEP PRESSING THE ##### BUTTON.

That will knock them out of the computer they are calling from! It will take a few times, but BOTTOM LINE, DOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT TALK TO THEM AND DOOOOOOOOOOO NOT CALL THEM BACK! They are PHISHING (AS IT IS CALLED) TO SEE IF THEY GET SOMEONE. YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE IS AN AUTO HANGUP!

IF YOU OWED AND WANT TO SOMEONE BACK, ALWAYSSSSSSSSSSSSS CALL THE COMPANY YOU OWED, EVEN IF YOU GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL!
AND NEVER ,NEVER GIVE ANYONE YOU DON'T KNOW, UNLESS YOU PERSONALLY CALLED THEN ANY INFO! OR YOU ARE SCREWED!

I don't answer these type calls but its annoying that many of them will leave some sort of answer phone contact though usually nothing is said. To keep the answer phone situation under some kind of control many times I just click answer then turn the phone off. It seems really crazy to actually answer such a call and completely irrational to then give them info.

I get calls like this all the time but never answer them.  I Google them and usually it's a scam or collection agency or free vacation.....none legitimate.  I don't understand why most people feel they have to take these calls from 800 or other area codes.  Just let it ring and go to voice mail.  If the call is important, they will leave a message and identify themselves.  You are not obligated to answer your phone every time it rings!

I like 800 Notes !  They tell me who annoying callers are so I wont accidentally pick up the phone when the idiots call....like this one.

This number is now calling my work.  I will be filing a complaint with AG.
