Just got new cell phone on Sunday, and have received two calls from this number.

They are calling everyday and I want them to stop.

I wonder how they know my home phone and cel phone number? They have been keeping calling day and night for almost three (3) months and looking for the person who does not pay bill whatever. Registration on "Do-NOT-CALL"   does not work not to receive this number. Should report BBB, or Department of Communication?

These people are charging me for 29.85$ that I don't owe. This must be STOPED!!!!!!

They have called at least 3 times a day. I have called my local phone company to find out what code I need to put into my phone to put up call blocking on the phone numbers that are showing up as unknown or are consistently calling.

From Comcast it is *60 for up to 12 numbers that are listed on your caller ID.

*77 for blocking "Unknown" that are showing on ones caller ID.

Thanks for the suggestion for calling the National Registry. I did that today.

Calling every day, twice a day sometimes more,since September 2009.

I had the same problem too. I just bought a cell phone and had just had the phone for 4 days. Then the number keeps on calling.

Same here. [***] calls. They make it sound like it is important but do not tell you what it is about. They have been calling me about someone who does not and never has lived here. Therse people are morons.

This company needs to stop calling my work number. I have asked them to call my home number but they insist on calling me at work where I can not talk to them about personal issues. I am not even sure what this for as they wont tell me!

They keep calling me asking for someone named Marci Davis. I don't know her.

Just received a call from 800-504-8612 (caller id said 800 Service) and when I answered it, there was an automated message that said "there are no agents available right now, we will have to call you back" playing over and over.

Yes Fedup.. I got a call and this company was rude to me!! I realize we have a bill to be paid and it is our fault that we have not paid it but dont treat me like I am an idiot! If you want to call and discuss this then by all means lets discuss it but I will not let you down grade me or my family. This country is having a tough time right now and we dont need idoits like that putting us down anymore than we already are. If he wants to yell at someone he needs to call the president and yell at him for all the people that are out of jobs.

I have called this company more than once and asked them to stop calling my cell phone as they have cost me a lot of money over the last two years checking my jam-packed voice mail. I use a prepaid phone. Despite my asking, the calls never stop. The last time I called, I was hung up on. I'm so fed up with these  incompetent idiots.

This number continuously calls and leaves the same message at least 2 times per day, they have been asked to stop but do not.

I have spoken with three different people at Diversified Adjustment Services. The calls are for some man I have never heard of. I explained to each of them that "Steven" (who ever he is) is not at the number they are calling and I have had this number for over 15 years, so to all you morons who wrote just pick up the phone and tell them they have the wrong number and the calls will stop. You're nuts!!!! They just continue to call and call and call numerous times each day.

Duh, you answered your own problem.They are paid to burn up your minutes so you can buy more.Thats why i have a trac phone.I know they don't know my name,so I can just ignore them.You,on the other hand,probably talk relentlessly, and answer any phone ring.Furthermore,why would you pick up a toll free call anyways?They want your phone # and any info you give them.

For two years,I have been getting calls for a person who never lived here (new construction), and I never heard of her.  Picking up the phone and telling them the person does not live at the location they have reached will only work until the account is sold to another company.  I have told these companies,at least six collection agencies, that they have the wrong person, number, etc.  Very shortly the account is sold to another agency too dumb to verify that the info they are purchasing is any good at all.  I too have asked each company to remove my number from their records.  Obviously, if they had no contact number, how would they be able to sell the account, so it is never removed. I have successfully stopped similar calls by writing to the FTC and the Attorney General's office.

By the way, over the past two years, I have obtained (without claiming to be the person they are trying to reach) the name of the creditor, the account number and the amount owed.   So much for these losers understanding privacy laws.   I have tried to locate this person myself so I can offer to back her up should she choose to pursue legal action.  If I had their resources available I am sure I could locate her in 10 minutes.
