- rbMy friend got a new cell phone number a couple weeks ago and started getting calls from NCO telling to call 800-511-8670 about a debt. So I called the 800 number and told them that she got a new cell phone number and then started getting calls from them. They asked for the cell phone number and looked it up. They said "Ok, (name of some person she doesn't know) is who we were looking for. I'll remove the number." How simple.

- cmadison3I just a message on my voicemail from this number, which didn't say a name, just calling to collect a debt, with a phone number to return and a reference number. Definitely won't call back!!
- jhrecieved a phone call at 9:30am today saying it was a debt collection agency and to call back in referance to id # yada yada. i immediately googled them and saw this site. i have an account with free credit report and that shows no reports on it...i also called the only place i could think of that may have reported me. turns out they have been trying to send me a bill and instead of calling me they sent me to this so called place. i don't know what it is because the doctors office told me that they can erase the message on my account. that it was there clerical error. is this company liget i don't know..they had my name and stated the same thing the doctors office said...i wouldn't give them any of your personal info until they tell you who sent them and then call that company and verify the details.

- CrazyKathy AGAINThe best thing to do is what I do. First, if you don't recognize the number, don't answer . . . let your machine get it. You can screen your calls. Get call intercept from Verizon, add this number as a prohibited to call me and whala! They vanish.
- Caller: Recorded, doesn't say
- FrankieI have been calls from these people since I bought a new cell phone. They keep calling the phone and leaving that stupid recording.

- kshkMy daughter, also a minor, keeps getting phone calls from this number. She also has NO DEBT! I advised her not to tell them anything and to tell them she is a minor, and being unduly harrassed on top of it.

- MTorresSecond call I received in less than a month from different numbers including 1-800-877-640-8185 and 1-800-511-8670. The first caller introduced herself as CJ from NCO Financial Collection Company. The second caller was a machine voice, gave no name and called in behave of NCO Financial System Incorporate, with the same message. Only the second caller mentioned my nickname and my last name. I never use my nickname to do business.
I'm waiting for the third call and then I'm going to ask for my credit report.- Caller: NCO Financial System Incorporate

- alexandersNCO Financial called, went to my voicemail. I called the number back. Was told by an extremely rude woman that the number was NCO Financial calling about a debt to be collected upon (I am a financial advisor and am 100% debt free) so I told her they must have some kind of mistake. She said she had talked to me earlier in the morning (she hadn't), and that it was a wrong number. If this isn't some kind of scam and is a legitimate company, it won't take long for them to go under with errors and customer service that poor.

- DEWGot a new phone, and they gave me a new number.
Ever since then I get a call from this # at least every few days.
I never answer it, so I get a recorded message, saying it is to collect a debt, and to call them with a case#.
Apparently NO ONE listens to your greeting. I get calls from other places, looking for who ever had this # before, even though my name is not even close to the one they are looking for.
Government needs to make it easier to correct these situations.- Call type: Debt collector
- Fed Up!Have had many messages from this company with partial message as my answering machine cuts the call off. I have picked up when call comes in and there is no one there. I don't have any debts owed so I won't call them. Annoying that the calls come even on the weekends starting at 8 AM!

- sicarianI got a call from 800-511-8670 on my cell phone. I also received a call from a similar (if not the same) number a week or so back. Both times I was not at my cell and had a voicemail instructing me to call back the 800 number with some reference number they left in the voicemail that I ignored.
Well, this time out of curiosity I called back, but I called from my home phone. Someone answered and stated it was NCO something or other. I told them that I received a call from them. She then asked the number I was called at - so I gave her the cell number. She then came back and said that they were trying to reach "Jesus Aguara" (sp?) at which time I busted out laughing and told her they've been duped. She chuckled and said that I didn't sound like a Jesus and that she would remove my number. BTW - I am not Jesus!- Caller: NCO
