- natacalled them back Spoke to Mary (about 3 weeks ago) and Edward Collins (today) Totally impolite and rude people- when I tried to explaine we don't owe them money- they say " yes you do- you'll call us back" and basically hang up on me!!!!!
- MHad an automated call with a man's voice saying he had to say by law they were a debt collection company "NCO" and this was the number they wanted us to call which I won't be calling. We do not have outstanding bills and have never been in debt collection. We are on the National Do Not call list for credible businesses. Any place businesses we use would never contact us like this.

They don't use my name-and I don't have any debt. - jscan't something be done about this company and their calling after they have been told to stop. the do not call registry can't seem to do the job. NCO is ignoring the federal goverment laws and i hope they get a big fine.

- Know your rights| 1 replyCollection agencies are not bound by the Do Not Call registry - that is for telemarketers only. However, they are bound by the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, so if you can get them to tell you anything at all about someone else's debt, they are in violation of it and can be sued in a court of law for up to $1000 per offense. They are not allowed to call a work number after you inform them that your employer does not allow such calls; that is also a violation. Calls before 8 am or after 9 pm are not allowed; take a photo of the caller ID with the time and date. Get a name and then tell them that they have violated the FDCPA and you are reporting them to the BBB, the FTC, and your state's AG. Do this every time - it rattles them, if nothing else. They may even stop calling for a while :-)

- Its a Collection Company...pay your billSo these people were calling my relative--my relative told me about the calls. I called them back and sure enough I talked to a lady who willingly gave me the account information that pertained to a small overlooked debt that I had from a utilities company I used in a different state. It was a debt that had not reached the thirty day mark and that it why it was not reported on any credit reports. The debt collector was polite and patient as I quizzed her about the "FRAUD" alerts that I was reading on the web. She explained her purpose and gave me ligit information. I paid the bill and all is done. In addition, I called the utilities company to confirm whom they had sold the account to--there was no fraud in site.
I agree, they are persistant. They are annoying, and sometimes they call the wrong numbers(or last known number for the intended individual). However, if people would be responsible and pay their bills...places like this would not serve a purpose.- Caller: NCO

- Something about the DO NOT CALL REGISTRYHey people--although you may have signed up for the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, if you call an 800, 866, 877, 888, ETC number, you automatically default your rights to the registry and they can sell your number to other telemarketing companies. Just a little FYI for people.

- OMG-LOL-JK replies to justinbieberfever123Wow. You are so right. I have been getting calls from that freakin' [***] number too. It's totally crappy and stupid!!!!!!!!!! I have been getting these calls since I got my first cell phone, too. Good freaking grief as much as I would love to help you get those annoying [***] off your phone, I can't, because I apparently don't know how to do so. My best guess is that you call your phone type # and tell them to get these [***] "Debt Collection Companies" off your phone. And if they don't help you, then you sue them AND NCO Financial Systems Incorperated. Good luck!!!! :-D
- justinbieberfever123i just got another damn call from nco financial systems incorperated, just yesterday. i was on fantage.com, chatting with my pod, when suddenly my phone started ringing. i check the caller id and it said this number------ 1-800-511-8670. i immediately KNEW it was those nco [***]. my pod asked me what was wrong, and i said im getting a call on my cell phone from a stupid [***]. he asked me who it was, and i said it was some crappy nco financial systems inc. he understood that i was annoyed by those [***] idiots, so he and i then went out on a date (on fantage). he said it would make me feel better. so we played some games, which made me feel a whole better. :-D i love my pod. he's the best guy in the world, and in fact, we have a date later tonight, on fantage that is.
