I just love how the "employees" create fake accounts on here & justify annoying and harassing hard-working people! Every one of those stories that justify their behavior or take up for this SCAMMER is FAKE - just like them!

If they call YOU & refuse to identify themselves, feel free to annoy them & harass THEM! I'm so tired of them calling our very busy office over & over again & hanging up.

Was a bank telling me they wanted money. Heck, I want money, too. If I had some I would have paid them but since my house burned, and I had no insurance, I don't have a pot to piss in. Am eating stale corn flakes and yucky tasting milk for breakfast. I told 'em I would pay them soon as I could, maybe when I win the lottery or meet a woman with big boobs and a big bank account.

This # has called me NUMEROUS times at my Work place. Place of business. DO NOT TALK with them.
If it is a collections agency then they shouldn't be calling you at your place of Business anyways. That is illegal. I am a lawyer.

how do we know you are not part of the scam?

i have had the same phone number for over a decade. so NOT a bad number.

only humans should be allowed to make and recice phone calls. i do NOT answer any computer call, and no message left so just a scam.

Wow, 'Not Brittany', you sound like you need to get a new job before you blow a gasket.  If someone with your demeanor and vocabulary called me, I'd be much inclined to pay another creditor twice as much and give you five bucks.

    Whoops... Probably legit
I got a call from this number yesterday. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. I found out though that my auto draft for my "first bank card" account didn't work like I thought it was going to and my payment didn't post so I was past due on my account. My bad! So many people don't realize how crappy debt collectors can be. They call and hang up on you? YEP they sit on the phone and harass you and cuss at you? YEP!!!  It's sad and pathetic but they know how to get their money. Also for those of you that they are calling by mistake. If you tell them "that's not me" while you may be telling the truth they won't believe you. Because guilty people say the same thing! If I wasn't going to pay my bills and they kept calling me I would just say "you have the wrong number. That's not my name" they assume the people not paying their bills are liars and cheats... Because a lot of them are.

I said because your company called me twice.
She said can I have your credit card account?
I sais I dont have a First Bank account, she said sir we manage a lot of account, i need some kind of number to put the info in the computer.
I said what about my name?
She said sir I need some kind of number like your credit card or your phone number,
I said lady, let me give you my name so u can put that info in the computer and search for my info, if i have a account with your bank my name should it be enough to start with the process ?
She said: sir (rude) I don't have time to play, are u going to give me your phone  number or your credit card?

After seeing one particular post regarding this NOT being a scam AND being perfectly aware that I was, in fact, late on a CC payment, I called this number back.  Turns out it was my CC company -- FirstBankcard Scheels -- calling to let me know my payment was late.  As I had already made the payment online that morning, she simply confirmed that it was in her system and simply asked me why it was late.  Other than one brief moment when she was getting slightly frustrated because I refused to answer certain security questions without knowing who I was talking to (she clarified for me pretty quickly at that point) this call was quite pleasant. I didn't give her any sensitive information and she was able to tell me what my balance was, confirm receipt of the payment I made, and give me my due date ... all without me giving her my private and sensitive information. She found my account with my name and my phone number and only after confirming that I was talking to the entity that I thought I was, did I give the last 4 of my SSN to identify myself to her.  She never pushed for my full SSN or my account number.  It is quite possible that some of you who have received SCAM calls have received them from entities cloning this number, but the number itself is legit. I know Verizon had some issues awhile back of scammers cloning their legitimate numbers, too.  So ... that's my story.

As far as I can tell, I have never had any business relationship with this company.  They call 3-5 times a day, including once on Sunday.  Sometimes they leave a message.
