If you use an android phone you might try an app called *Call Control - Call Blocker*. I have had the paid version for a few years now and it works pretty good but no Blocking app blocks all the bad calls. These scammers can use many different numbers to call you and you have to keep adding them to your block list. If it is an area code not in your area then you can block the area code and it will block all numbers with that area code. I think there are ways they can get around that too so nothing is 100%. But the call block app does help allot.

I don't answer calls from people I don't know. If it is not a friend or family member I ignore the call.

    READ CAREFULLY PEOPLE!!!!
Identity Theft IS one of the biggest crimes going on all over the world. Be VERY CAREFUL who you give your personal information to. I was a victim of ID theft once and it cost me $7500 Someone stole checks from a house they broke in to and they made a fake drivers license using my name and address on it to cash the stolen checks. The police locked me up for the crime. It cost me $1500 to get out of jail on BOND and another $6000 for an attorney, and polygraph test, and a hand writing expert  to verify that the hand writing on the stolen checks was not my hand writing. The whole ordeal was a freaking nightmare.
I only answer calls from family & friends. My home address is listed in the phone book so if any businesses want to contact me they can mail me their junk mail. I *NEVER* do business with businesses that call me, so those calls NEVER get answered. When I want to do business with a company I ALWAYS call them. The reason I NEVER do business with businesses that calls me is because there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of scammers these days so you never really know who they are. If it is a company that I do do business with like T-Mobile, Chase Bank etc that calls me then I will answer but if they are asking for my personal information like address, credit card or bank account numbers etc then the call ends there because they already have that info about me. If I think they might be legit then I tell them I will come down to the bank, T-mobile or whatever and give that information in person and I ask for their name so I will know who to ask for when I get there.
I live by the rule ***Don't call me, I'll call you if I need your service or product***
    NO exception to my rules.
I will answer if caller ID is from a business I do business with but I am VERY careful in case they are spoofing their ID. They want personal info I will ask for their name and tell them I will call them back after I verify the number they are calling from is a listed number of the company I do business with.   I suggest everyone else do the same.

They claimed to have received my number from "a friend or neighbor" and were offering a "free wireless home security system". They did have an option to "press 2" to be removed from their calling list.

That number is directory assistance, but I'm guessing the real number is spoofed to look harmless. I wouldn't answer or call them back. My husband and I have both received calls. On his phone the caller was ID'd as "Frontier" but I wouldn't trust that.

No message and didn't answer. Thought it qas amusing if you google image search this no. It comes up as the number to call if you have used zoloft, or any of a dozen birth controls and had problems.
