Recieved calls from this number several times now .
I use answering machine to screen my calls .
Msg. I use informs all callers that my line is being screened for nuisance calls and all callers must leave name and business name before I'll pick-up .
Of course they know what that means and hang up .
Sad thing about this , it is ok for morons to call you repeatedly but if YOU did this to them , that would be grounds for them to file a complaint against YOU and you will lose !!

Isn't there a way with the cell phone companies to block this number from getting through to your cell?
I am thinking of stopping at the local DTE office and give them Hell in person.

Maybe if we start calling the CEO of DTE on a regular basis he will do something about it...... Tony Earley is his name.

It is DTE. I called customer service and they can take my name off of their marketing list. They tell me that I will only get calls related to the business of your account. 1 down a thousand to go!

We are getting phone calls from here several times a day. We were worried there was a problem with our eletric bill payment. I have tried to answer it on several occasions only to have dead air on the other end. I think we all need to start calling back and load them up with annoying calls. How fusterating.

I just had the service for a rental home switched into my name and now DTE is calling me a few times a day. I have added them to my Stupid area of my address book on my cell phone. As I've done with other annoying, won't-stop callers, I assign the name of Stupid, (1, 2, 3,...) and give it the special silent ring tone. Delete at the end of the day.

I'll start complaining to my service provider.....Loud enough to prevent these unwanted INTRUSIONS!!  Should They start illegally abusing the system By calling My Cell Phone....which now causes me to Pay for these unwanted calls....I will Sue...for costs and $$$ agravation(s). (While they try to hide their identity and  Ownership from Us ....Please Believe that Complaints to the FTC...AND!!! Service Providers!!! ET. AT&T, Bell(s), Comcast, Verizon, Vonage, etc.

I want to be able to Block these Calls from ever being able to dial My Number. The DNC was just a start...Forward every Complaint to Your Congressman and Senator (Both State and Fed). Use your Call forwarding to their Phones....

Let them know they're not doing their Job (For The People)!!

daily calls almost on the hour, daily silent msgs on machine...pets at home during the constant harrassment. ratbastards suck.  have a friend that has the appliance svc and it is a ripoff, the reps they send never have parts even gfor ths simplest problems, then they have to order parts then they have to return to install the parts. 2 months total to have  a dishwasher repaired.

Calls several times daily and never leaves a message. I don't answer 800 calls anymore because of so many advertisers targeting me, even though I'm on the National Do Not Call List. I have gotten many in the last several months since cell phone numbers have been sold to telemarketing companies.

It is very annoying, especially since I'm in Real Estate and it's difficult to screen all of my calls.

I always screen my calls, which helps as I do not answer anything I do not recognize.  I have found that if someone important calls you and it is a legitimate phone call, they will leave a message detailing why they need to talk to you.  The telemarketers always hang up.  It is sad, as I work from home and even the phone ringing is a distraction to me as I do have to stop what I am doing and look at the caller ID.  I am also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for our home phone and our cell phones.  So far the cell phones are okay.

It is feb 2009, and I don't even live in MI anymore and am not a current customer and they call me once a day! How annoying!!

They have been calling me for the past three years.

The number is Detroit Edison's Appliance Warranty Sales Department. They are trying to sell you a contract for appliance repair warranty. Like most warranties of this type, be very careful, check the annual total cost and what is covered.

I have been getting calls daily from them. Even though I complained via email and was told they would stop.
I then filed a complaint with the Michigan Public Service Commission and got some results. It's easy to do through the State of Michigan's website.
I suggest that you file a complaint. maybe if they get enough of them they will stop this nonsense.
