Daily calls from this number, as well.  Already received numerous snail mail soliciting the same thing. Here's a hint, DTE....if we're paying our bills and you don't hear from us that we're interested in the service, back off!!!

This is a DTE Protection Plan solicitation. I called them and pressed #3 for "agent". I woman answered. I asked to be removed from this call list. She asked for my phone number which I gave to her. She said I would be removed from the list. We'll see!

This person keeps calling and saying I  owe them money which I don't owe anyone. They get very rude and they say there going to collect, it's very scary to have someone do this.
They keep switching numbers when they call  here are three that I wrote down.

Its the same person he is a person who doesn't know the answer is "no you have the wrong number"
He will not take no for a answer. These people I hope never sleep at night for hurting people who hasn't
done anything wrong.

They call every other day.  How annoying.  I will not answer and I am even on the DO NOT CALL LIST

If you talk to them they will bill you $25.00 per month on your bill for energy protection.  They sent me some literature and I did not respond so they billed me.  They did it to me and I had to fight to get the money back.  I got all back but $25.00.  They are real steaky.

I have been getting these calls daily. I do not answer them but no voice mail message is ever left. I just emailed DTE asking that they stop these calls.

I called 1-800-556-0011, DTE Energy, and told them to put my telephone number, which I gave them, on their "DO NOT CALL" list. They agreed to do this and apologized several times

I am on the do not disturb list and DTE keeps calling me.  I will not answer since I know who they are and what they want.  I have asked them repeatedly to not call me anymore and they still call me every day.  .

I am still getting calls - and it's the latter quarter of 2010! I will take your word for it that it's DTE; I don't answer 800 numbers on my cell anyway. I have a cell for my homephone and it serves as my spam filter!

This number calls me 3-4 times a day. I do not answer 800 numbers. I am getting sick of this crap.

this time DTE called was they want to sell a home protection plan... is what the call was to me.
They also solicit the same thing by US mail. You would think if we wanted it we would have accepted the offer by mail.
They also make calls to tell you don't put your dogs outside in the yard by. a computer generated call

They are a division of MichCon called Home Protection Plus.  You can see the "Call our hotline..." and the number up at the top.

Call them.  Press (or say) 3.  Tell them politely to have your number put on their "Do Not Call" list.  "Marissa" told me she would.  We'll see how it goes.

11/22/2010 again another call from DTE trying to sell me a plumbing or electrical service contract by computer telephone canvasing.

I am not a DTE customer... I am a DETROIT EDISON and MICHIGAN CONSOLIDATED GAS Company  and DTE handles their accounts and does a really bad job of it..

since I got my caller ID  I love it       Now I don't have to answer any caller I don't know but before it
I told all of these non callers that I was on the no call list -- and every answer was  "Yes but that doesn't include us"  The worst caller is the cops----- always asking for money for something or another.

funny thing about DTE is that they are the only utility company to make a report on your credit report
even if you have a monthly amount that isn't due yet. I had seen my report twice in a year and both times  they had I owe  40 some dollars and I hadn't even recieved a bill for that month.

you know the reps don't give a [***] when you try and threaten them by "taking my business elsewhere". They have a job to spew info at you, and thats what they'll do.

@hudini lol dude the calls are annoying but have you asked to be placed on their do not call list? Have you ever left the "please mail/call me with more info" box checked? Honestly no lawyer worth a dime will take a case if you haven't even made an attempt to contact them.

But go on with your fantasy that anyone actually cares.
