- James ConleyThese people call me 3x a day .Please quit calling me!!!!!
- Caller: FMS
- Annoyed in VirginiaMy husband and I just had a land line put in our residence. We are now receiving calls from this number which reads "unavailable". Considering we have not given this number out, our thought is that this organization is probably trying to reach whomever had the number prior to us. This is very annoying, especially since they call after 7:30 p.m. each time - twice we have gone to bed for the night. I called the number back and got a recording that said FMS. It says that a representative will answer shortly and then disconnects as soon as that is stated. I called it twice - each time the same thing happened.
- RobertKeep getting automated calls from them asking me to hold for the next rep. if they want to talk to me they should be on the other end of the line when I answer.
- Caller: FMS
- Call type: Debt collector
- Amber TThey called and asked me to verify my address because they have a business matter with me. I refused to provide and ask them what was the matter. They wouldn't tell me unless I provided my address. I hung up on them and blocked them.
- just meI received a call from this number, and the woman on the phone asked for the the previous owner of our home by name, which was really odd since there is no connection between us and them, and then proceeded to ask if I had any information as to the where abouts of this person, or their phone number. They had not owned this property in 2 years, and had not lived here for over 3 years, so none of this made sense. There was no recording, no call back message, or numbers to push. They did not identify who they were or what they called about. But there is something those of you who are getting multiple calls per day can do. Collection agencies have restrictions on how often they can call, even if it is for a valid debt. It varies from state to state, so you need to check on what the regulation is locally. In Oregon it is only 1 call per week.
- Leave me the hello alone! They call multiple times a day. I let 800 numbers go to voice mail. The voice mail recording keeps saying "please hold for a representative" repeatedly.
- Caller: I have no idea Google says FMS, whoever the hello that is
- kenny Dicharryplease block this caller from my phone

- IrateThey call my home business line multiple times per day, at all hours, with some sort of robot saying "Please hold...." I finally held and got a living, breathing person, who, without identifying himself or the company he was supposedly representing, pretty much demanded my personal info, including address and SSN, which I refused to give. I told him to stop calling my number, and he said he would have my number removed. We shall see.........
- Caller: Claimed to be FMS or something like that
- Lilly| 1 replyHave been calling for weeks, many times a day, recording asks me to wait, that their reps are busy, I run a business from home, don't have time to wait, never had a person come on. If they don't have time to talk, don't call. Don't owe anybody any money, no clue what they are up to.
- Caller: hard telling
- CharlieI worked (past tense) as a sales rep in the collection industry. To stop any agency from calling you whether it is your debt or not.
Say to the caller "I am recording this call as well. And this is a cease and desist demand. If you call me again for any reason I will turn this recording over to an attorney and we get $500 out of you every time you call" Then laugh and hang up the phone...- Caller: 800-580-7611
- PHYLJust got a call from this number and it was not a recording but she couldn't speak English and I didn't understand who they were looking for and she repeated the same thing and I think she asked if this was he or she. My reply was: I don't think so and if you can't speak English so someone can understand you.......GO TO HELL AND I hung up. I don't owe anyone anything and I don't like these calls and I can get pretty bitchy in a hurry. If I would have had my glasses on and could see the numbers I would have said: This is the FBI, how can I direct your call. They usually hang up pretty quick with that response.
- ToFakeCompany| 1 replyI see there is page after page of complaints on FMS/800-580-7611. Here goes another! Don't answer the phone!!!!! They annoy me and annoy me and annoy me. They want confidential info from me but as to what the nomenclature FMS is for, they refuse to say. I did get out of one of them they are affiliated with Lexington Law - SO BEWARE! They also call me over and over and sometimes there is a person, sometimes not. THEY ARE NOT A FEDERAL agency. S C A M! They can expect that I will never answer again! I am not a person either and not at the end of that phone call!!!!!

- CWG40 replies to LillyCall blocker might be your best bet.
- CWG40 replies to Gail WhyteCall blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID.
- SickOfScammers replies to ToFakeCompanyWow - thank you for saying you got them to say they are affiliated with Lexington Law. Lexington Law is a scam "credit repair" company. All of these "credit repair" companies are all scams - if a person wants to repair their credit, they can do it through the credit reporting agencies as well as a state attorney general's office to get referrals to where to go to get it repaired legitimately. And, most people can get it done on their own for free or for very nominal fees.
I always knew there was something fishy about this company pretending to be a collection agency when all they are is really a scam credit repair fake company. - GeorgeThis is third time that the number called me. In the robocall message, it does not identify themselves. It only says "Press 1 if interested or if not interested, we will disconnect at this time." The line they've been calling is my work line, which is a Government line. I have given 3 complaints to FTC Do Not Call Complaint center.

- NOYB replies to FYIThey break the law in order to collect.
- NOYB replies to MeruThere are laws pertaining to what circumstances they can and can not call a person. The person saying to give information of person they are asking about out is not wrong. I really think it is unethical, obtrusive and disrespectful, to give out someone else's personal information, it is just wrong. Just tell them to stop calling, if their claims are lagit then they should have no problem sending it in writing (hard proof). Plus giving out personal information (yours or anyone's) to some random dumb ass that calls your phone is just asking for identity theft. It is their job to find the right person (if they are even lagit) not yours, don't do someone elses job unless you are getting paid. I think the person that wrote that statement most likely works for or with the people making the calls..
