- Susan TasakiCalled my cell phone, no message left. Googled number to find that it was BSE. What's really annoying is that I have to pay for this unsolicited call.
- Caller: BSE
- KellySame thing happened just now - but they've called 2 times leaving only one message.
- Caller: natural gas
- rb| 1 replyI too, got a call from BSE, Blue Spruce Energy, who wanted to know if a have a small business that uses natural gas. As it turns out, I do. They asked me for the rate schedule code to see if my service is qualified to be switched over to recieve natural gas from them instead of P,G, and E.
It can save me up to 15% per month on gas bills, which for my business, is a lot. I can opt out at any time, and it doesn't cost anything to make the switch. My understanding is that it's part of PGE's "Community Choice Aggregation" program which allows energy users to switch to a potentially cheaper provider. You still get service and bills through PGE but the actual energy (gas or electric) can come from another provider. Sounds good to me.- Caller: BSE
- napabobSeveral messages on my cell phone. I wonder if it is from the cell phone companies burning account minutes.

- StanSaid he was "Rex" from Pacific Gas and Electric calling about my gas account. If he was really from PG&E he would know that gas is not available here. My guess is that it was a scam.
- Caller: "PG&E"

- timI thought bogus since he said are you responsible for the pge account. Yea, just like most of the state.
- janathis is a gas vender who is accessing names/numbers fr: PG&E, so don't think the calls can be blocked via "do not call" list, for anyone who has an account with PG&E. They want to know your account information so they can determine if their rates might benefit you. They are legit -- you can find them listed on the PG&E web page under the "core gas agregation" page.

- MiriamI also got the call from the "BSE for PG&E". They also wanted me to get my bill and would wait while I did so. This is a business account, and when I grilled them as to whether they wanted to speak to the person who just pays the bills or who makes service decisions, she sd. it was regarding matters related to paying my bill. I guess with liberal interpretation that is the same thing?? Anywho, I asked her to call back so I could get my bill. During the process she also stated that I had received an insert in my last bill stating I had accrued or otherwise qualified for my 15% discount on my gas. Thinking she was speaking of the 'save 20% on gas usage and PGE will refund you' deal I continued the phone call. In the end she agreed to call back. I called PGE, who put in a complaint because legit or not they 1. Misrepresented themselves as actually being a part of PGE 2. They LIED to me saying that there had been an insert that I had just overlooked. The same company contacted us a little over a year ago with the same spiel about 'inserts' only then they argued with me over something that they had lied about??!!. They do appear to be a legit supplier of gas, under the Core Transport Aggregate program at PGE. My guess is that the marketing is farmed out to telemarketers who are either instructed to, or just do whatever they have to to weedle themselves in and get you to sign on. Go to PGE, Business services, CTA or Core Transport and they have a list of providers there.

- BobYeah, I got the call today. Asked to speak with person who handles the gas bill. Asked who he was. Said he was calling "on behalf of PG&E regarding a 20% rebate on my gas bill. Then I asked who **HE** was, not who he was "calling on behalf of". Finally said Blue Spruce Energy. Then I asked who THAT was. At that point, he asked me if the property was zoned commercial. I said no, residential. He said, "sorry, never mind", and hung up.
Worst telemarketing call I've gotten all year. Generally, they at least tell you what they want to sell you!
It was on my cell phone, too. That's my business phone contact, so what I think is they are collecting registered business contacts and calling them.- Caller: Blud Spruce Energy

- Ottone Leach Olsen & Ray LLPThis company phones to say they are calling about our account. We do not have an account with them. They are rude. They are obviously telemarketers with no training in professional phone skills. They use the PG&E name to try and get the call to "someone in charge"-
