- Santa Rosa, CAI just got a call from "Bill Smith" identified Blue Spruce Energy as the company who he was with, i felt he wanted me to answer "yes" in a lot of diffrenet questions. I was just asuming he wanted to tie our company up in some kind of scam for natural gas. Did not trust, told him to fax me information only and we would get back to him if we were interested.
He asked me for an e-mail, i gave him our company Information request e-mail, he seamed to get upset and told me he would sent us info that was an enrollment and if we did not see a saving we can terminate within 3 months. I told him WE DECLINE TO ACCEPT YOUR SERVICE AND WE DECLINE TO ENROLL IN ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO OFFER. He then asked me again, do you event want me to send you the e-mail? who else can i speak to about saving money? I told hime no one.
Next time just hang-up!- Caller: Blue Spruce Energy "Bill Simth"

- VLC| 1 replyI answered the phone and person started talking to me about my PG&E bill, and lowering my natural gas procurement cost. I asked how he got my number and he explained he got it from PG&E. Then he wanted my name and address and that's when I decided to hang up. If he was really working with PG&E, he would have already had my name and address. He explained
- VLC replies to VLCHe explained that he got my number from public information... Bad answer
- MartinaI just got a call from 1 800 591 8729. The girl said she was from Blue Spruce Energy. She 'told' me to get my PG&E bill to see if I qualified for their program. She told me the program had been voted in by the people of California as a way to help reduce the gas bills. When I asked what the name of the bill was that had been passed she said she did not know! A supervisor then took over her call and proceeded to effectively berate me because I would not sign up for the program immediately. When I told him I wanted to get more information on line before I made a decision he actually became quite aggressive.
These people need to be reported to the authorities.- Caller: Blue Spruce Energy
- NinaI got a call from this company (Blue Spruce, which is a third-party company) and told me that I could save some money with the PG&E Choice Program (I have a business acct with PG&E). She wanted me to get my gas bill so they could enroll me, which I don't have with me. I told her I would call her back after I talked it over with my supervisor. I proceeded to contact PG&E to see if this is a legitimate company, and after talking to the customer rep from PG&E, they are. It's just that PG&E doesn't know how much exactly that other company can save the consumer. But ultimately, it's up to the customer whether or not they want to join this program.

- AlexI got the call from Blue Sprice. They want me to sign up to commit PG&E to buy my gas from them. They claim this will lower my gas bill. I asked them where their gas comes from. They said it is a fracking well in Colorado. I'm pretty sure I don't want to commit to buying gas from a fracking company:

- skycaptaineddieSame thing - a natural gas telemarketer, and other posters are correct: They won't identify themselves past the natural gas comment.

- JewelDiamond in Salinas| 1 reply8/8/12 I just spent 50 min on the phone with Blue spruce Energy. My aged father chose Vista Gas a few years ago, they work with PG&E to supply the natural gas. I now handle all his bills, and when they called I kept trying to understand. My main complaint is that they could not validate what they claimed with any tangable research I could ck out online. I was given to a supervisor,named Nickols,who seem annoyed by my persistant questioning as to his valad authinticity. He wanted to give me back to Rose. they both indicated that this was taking too much time. but the more I tried to understand and ask questions the more irritated they became. finnaly Rose told me she had to leave in 10 min. and wanted to get through the sign up process. at that point I said NO. I have to stop now. Rose would not stop talking and say good by. I literally had to say I'm hanging up now and just hang up I know there are choices out there for gas suppliers, but there's got to be a better way.

- ssThese guys have called me at least once a month for 6 months. For the past 5 months I have asked them not to call again, but the calls keep coming. They now identify themselves as Blue Spruce instead of PG&E so they must be getting complaints. I'd say about half of the calls have been rude. The last one laughed at me when I told him I ran some numbers and couldn't find any savings. With great restraint I kept my cool. Why would I want to do business with someone who condones this?

(800) 210 9011 ext: 3027
Took a good amount of grilling to get the Blue Spruce Energy name and still I'm not sure what this is all about, I asked if they were contracted by PG&E and she said "yes". She told me to find my bill and call back. She didn't not give me a percentage of possible savings. Not sure I will call back. I think I'll check the PG&E site;

- laureo replies to Mark in Sac, CAYes, got a call. Person was very nice. I put her off by saying I wasn't home so I could check out the company name she gave me. Then googled and found this site. I never give out numbers over the phone without doing that first.
- Another Utility Rate Reduction ScamIt's another lame scam, folks! Blue Spruce Energy is located in Colorado. Don't give out any information especially your PG & E account number (or even more sensitive info). These scumbags are data mining. All they are after is your personal info!
From thw looks of many posts here none of us have any account with these idiots!
Report them to the FTC!!! It also looks like they used many different numbers to make these illegal calls. A good indication that they spoof Caller ID! Wouldn't at all be surprized if they use the other means scammers use too!!- Caller: Scam!!!

- CRB in CAThese people left multiple messages on my answering machine for several weeks. Always "Christine" from Blue Spruce Energy. I just happened to pick up the phone this evening and it was her again. Wanted me to get my PG&E bill to see if I was eligible for savings, said she was "obligated" to wait while I did. Said I was eligible to get up to 10% off my gas bill and wanted my PG&E ID number (not my account number) then got really rude when I wouldn't give it too her. Pretty much called me a stupid idiot for not believing she was legit and not wanting to save 10%. I hung up on her. Even if this company isn't a scam, she was so rude I'd never want to do business with that company anyway.
