Blue spruce energy is a SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!!  I noticed a charge from them on my pg&e bill, which is weird since I NEVER signed up for them.  I had never heard of them until I saw the charges on my bill.  The only conclusion I could come up with as to how they got my account number is that one of their "representatives" (you know those people who walk around your neighborhoods going door to door trying to get you to sign up for their scam companies) stole my mail. I had noticed something fishy about my mail last month. Like it was on the floor instead of being in my mailbox. I mean it being on the floor  could of been from someone trying to not get caught stealing mail.  Anyway, when I called the blue spruce energy and told the guy I never signed up for them, he said that they needed my account number and phone number to sign me up for their services in the first place. I k is he was LYING about them needing my phone number because I've done enough research about these scam companies to know that THEY ONLY NEED YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER.  Which, of course, they got through stealing my mail.  And I know nobody else in my house signed up for them because my Phone number is the only number on the account. Anything that deals with pg&e goes through me since I'm the only one who pays the bill.  Plus I live with only one other person and that person is hardly home.

Bottom line: DON'T TRUST BLUE SPRUCE ENERGY..
    THEY ARE A SCAM.
THEY WILL GO SO LOW AS TO STEAL YOUR MAIL AND SIGN YOU UP WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.

I notice that a lot of these posts are older. ... but I used to work for blue spruce and it is legitimate. .. but I got screwed out of the money for 70 people I singned up claiming that all the phone numbers were fraudulent when they weren't. .. it seemed that I had no problem completing those calls and getting hold of those people.  Were any of you people actually solicited at your homes or were these all phone calls placed to your homes because technically they arent really allowed to do it that way it requires for you to sign and initial important parts..... I was just curious because they tried to say u qas under investigation for doing just that and I didn't unlike a lot of the reps that come to your door I take pride un what I do and my customers I want them to fully understand the program and their rights before signing with me

I went with Blue Spruce for a year. The actual price of the GAS is less. But the DELIVERY CHARGE makes them non-competitive. You will actually pay more in the long run. So do the math and call your PG&E Rep.

Since you worked for Blue Spruce, how do I contact them to cancel my service. I just checked and found out I am paying more thru them then I would be through PG&E.

Since you worked for Blue Spruce, maybe you can help me.  We are paying the same amount with Blue Spruce as we were to PG&E because of the service charge by PG&E.  We would like to go back to PG&E but I cannot find a phone number for Blue Spruce in order to cancel this service.  Can you help me?  Thanks.

My husband and I have both talked  to P.G.&E. and Blue Spruce reps. and as of yet have had no success for getting PG&E to take off the Blue Spruce charges for the last year!  PG&E claims that we have signed an agreement with Blue Spruce copy of which must be kept with Blue Spruce and for which we can not access- probably because we never signed an agreement nor have ever given out our PG&E  account number!  We have been fighting this for a year, have even called the sheriff's dept. to warn of door to door pests for Blue Spruce in our area.  Maybe we should ask all unhappy customers to a meeting & go to the D. A. Anyone interested?

Yes. It is our responsibility to make sure no one steals from us or from anyone else for that matter. Unite for a good cause!
We never would have seen the scam had a couple of college-age boys not knocked on our door to sell it to  us. We have never signed a thing, either!
