Refused to give his company name, refused to say why he was calling, hung up in my face.

I constantly get calls from this company.  I do not owe them.  I have no outstanding debts. It is a recorded message so you cannot respond

You are a fraud of the worst kind. You say you’re collecting to close a past debt but in reality you’re scamming off people. You use scare tactics and lies to try your advantage. One question…if you do ever collect on a debt do you ever inform the original party that the debt has been collected and should be removed from any credit history. Enough said…you’re a fraud of the worst kind.

This number has called me several times. I called back and went through the phone tree trying to find out what it was about; from the name I gathered it was a debt collector. I left them a message stating that I have no debt, and that I wanted to hear from them to clear up any confusion on that point. They never called back (weeks), but are now calling me again at random (not a real person - no way to even reach a real person). I figure even if I did have a debt that somehow I didn't know about, the fact that they didn't call me back the first time strongly suggests they are not legitimate.

Just a harassment call. I have no idea what I owe them money for. Probably fake company trying to harass people into giving ten money. If try were an honest company thy would try reasonable means instead of harassment. I simply put them on my blocked caller list. :)

I don't anyone any money! This particular 800 service has been calling regularly for the last 10 days now. Finally, today, I answered the phone and the recording went thru the entire speech about a particular person and finally said, 'if you are not this person, please press 4". So I pressed 4  and waited for a response and someone not a computer finally answered and I told them, "I am not that person, I don't know that person, please stop calling me. Thank you." The man said, "We called the wrong number", I said "yes, please stop calling me." He then coughed twice in my ear and hung up. He didn't I am sorry, I will remove number, just hung up. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!  It doesn't matter if you owe money are not, these people are rude and liars!

Yeah i know how that is Pat. I had this phone number for a year not and i still get people calling for the previous owner. what i think is funny is when you state your name in your voice name and they still leave a message for some one else.

These people leave a message and its cut off. I have never receieved anything in mail. Dont know who they are. Yes, I have bills out there. Both my husband and I have been with out work for sickness.

They call me at least 10 times a day 7 days a week. Even at 11p.m.

It seems that a lot of people are unemployed right now...sorry they have so much trouble finding anyone to do that work.

they have a website you can send them an email and tell them they have 24 hours to stop calling your number.  Depending what state you live in you can sue them for up to $2000 if they call you after that 24 hours.  The only catch is they have to be calling for the wrong person.  They do also have to reimburse you if they called you cell phone in error.  Do not verify any of your information however  because they will look to see if they have any old debts for you.

I received a call from this number and I am not the person they are asking for.  The phone number option I was given to have my name removed was given so fast and not repeated that I didn't get it.  Please remove my number and stop calling my cell phone 267-372-4842.

Better Business Bureau site showing many complaints and a lot of contact info.  Why not call the president and have a chat about harassment?

I don't mind legitimate collectors who identify themselves, but they asked me to verify my address and when I told them I would not do so until they told me who they were, the lady hung up on me.  TWICE.  So whether or not I pay my bills is not your business.  The whole country is in a decline, but that does not give these people the right NOT to identify themselves and be rude at the same time.

Calling my house asking for my dead Nephew. I asked them several times to stop calling, finally lost it because the lady got real real nasty with me. I lost i and cussed the lady out. Now, every night at 10:35 pm since that night, I am getting calls the night after with phone calls asking if Joshua can come out to play and threatening calls saying they will pop a cap in our ass. Joshua was murdered - shot in the head. I don't think this is very funny. I know it's her because I never got calls like this before that. And, Josh has been dead a year as on 4-18-2011. Really SICK SICK SICK people.

Got a call from this number, no one answered on their end. It's from Firstpoint Collection Resources, a collection agency that claims to have over 100 years of collection integrity. That's odd since it was incorporated in 2001. The president is Michael Bumpass. Send him your thoughts.

I haven't received a call from First Point Collection Resources, but I did get a letter in the mail stating that I owe $50.00 dollars for an overdue medical bill. I did not get anything in the mail (or even a phone call) before this saying that I owed any money to my doctor or for the lab work, so for it to go straight to a collection agency was strange to me. I checked my bank account to make sure that the check I wrote for my only doctor visit in the past five years went through, which it did. After reading through these posts, it's clear that First Point Collection Resources is a scam. I always make sure that I pay everything right away, and I am confident that I do not owe money to anyone. Perhaps they are targeting people that try to keep good credit? I found out everything I need to know by Googling First Point Collection Resources. I just hope they do not call me, because I will NOT have anything nice to say!
