I can back any all of the previous comments and descriptions. They have been calling me repeatedly for several years now. How did they obtain the information about my computer and security choices? I certainly did not provide the info. Obviously they have access to dell's data, scary that.

The man who just called me told me he was from Dell and I had a problem with my computer.  I told him I don't have a computer and why is he calling me when I don't have one he told me because he liked the sound of my voice and it was making him hard.  So I am sure this is not Dell.  YUCK  block block block

They are a under link of Dell computer. Dell hires nothing but people from India. Dell should be band from selling computers. A [***] company.

They are not Dell, or and "under link" of Dell. They're scammers.

Dell is headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, and several thousand people work at that location.

However, several years ago the company moved most of its consumer phone support operations to India.

Male caller told my wife he wanted to speak with me and would call back in 30 minutes.  Called back then and about 4 more times hanging up each time I answered.  Didn't hang up when my wife answered.  Instead male caller asked to speak with me but hung up as soon as i asked why we kept getting hang ups.  Two more calls afterward to voicemail but left no message.

I called Dell & learned that the number being spoofed is the valid number of the Dell tech support dept.  Report such harassing call to Dell fraud dept at 866-452-1742 and/or www.Dell.com/reportphonescams.

Because I was scammed and got my money back thanks to PayPal and because I have given all of the necessary information to the police who have now turned this over to the FBI my phone is ringing about 10 times a day.  A going to get a blocker for sure.

Isn't Dell just wonderful for saving money and having customer service being handled in India? Do they give a s*#$% that for many years now these scumbags either use the database they have access to and do the scams themselves or sell the database to outside people for extra money? If you complain to Dell they tell you to fill out the complaint form. Yea accomplishes alot. How about solving the problem and bringing customer service back to the US.

We got rid of our POS Dell computer around a year ago and we're still getting these Dell computer repair scam calls.

These calls are from a scammer making random-dialed phishing calls hoping to snag a Dell customer. How on earth do you expect that scammer (probably in Pakistan) to know you got rid of your Dell? Do you understand what's happening here?

Well yesterday there were 11 calls from this number.  Today it is starting again - already 2 calls within 10 minutes.  Hope my blocker gets here soon.  Some of you are right when you mention that Dell probably doesn't care.  They are making the big bucks.  When I had a HP I never go these calls.  I didn't like the HP because it only lasted for a couple of years but I didn't have to put up with this.  Believe it or not, my last Dell lasted for 11 years.
I am having a local person take care of my computer from now on - someone I know and trust.

They called two days ago.  I answered.  They said they're from Dell, and I said no they're not and we don't have a Dell computer.  Then I hung up on the guy.  They called me back 4 times yesterday and so far SIX times today.  The number is blocked, so I don't have to be bothered with answering it.

These fake Dell scammers literally call me 2 to 3 times every single day.

Then maybe you should literally block the number.

Received st least 6 calls this morning. When I finally answer, they hang up!!!

when they called I asked them to take me off their call list and he answered he would for $500.00
