I followed up with the real Microsoft as well as a police report cause luckily I had quickly turned my phone recorder on. Not real Microsoft. Sorry to hear others have suffered this too.
- LisaThis has to be a scam. Microsoft does NOT call unless you've had very recent tech support and only after you've contacted THEM first if memory serves. I have not called them in years. Wierd. I've blocked them.

- BigBoyMicrosoft Windows Support. I love wasting their time. These scammers are stupid and I love testing intelligence and the phone calls usually end in profanity. Two conversations with them and they usually stop calling. Don't give them personal info. If they have your name, give them a fake name and correct them.

- StevenLady say's she is from the Cyber Security Office of the World Wide Web, I asked what was wrong with my computer she hung up, I knew it was a scam just like the other couple of hundred calls I have gotten over the past 10 years

- karenI get several calls a week from this number --- it is apparently really Microsoft. If I answer, after a few seconds, a recorded voice says, "good-bye." When I have tried to reach customer service in order to tell them to stop, I get a ridiculous answering service (recording). When I say customer service, I get transferred to another section which gives long listings of their various services, which NEVER leads to a human voice. If you then get Customer Service, again not a real person, you eventually wind up with them wanting a $5.00 refundable fee to help you with your problem!!!! NEVER A REAL PERSON. I will never pick up on them again, it's useless.
