Left robo message stating that they are receiving potential hacking warnings from my computer and to press one to speak with a Microsoft certified technician.  Total scam.  Do not press one or return the call.

Keep getting calls from 800-642-7676. The caller ID shows  FEB. I do not answer and after 4 rings my answering machine comes on and the caller hangs ups without saying anything. Believe these are scam calls.

Microsoft may call you back as a service professional (though it seems unlikely they would farm out service when they have their own crew). But the people calling the general public are scammers. Microsoft does not call you to tell you you have a problem with a virus.

This is NOT from Microsoft.  It is a scam and they want you to use your password, etc. to get on your computer so they can control it.  They told me that was how they could fix my problem.  I wasn't having a problem.  They were the ones calling ME stating that they knew I had a problem.  Don't trust people just because they say they work for a company.

Blocked number then looked it up on here doing that a lot lately want me to pick up have a caller Id. Feb means nothing

Several calls during the week; trying to phish for credit information from your computer. BEWARE!!

They called me today with that mess. I put a partial name out on the net a few months ago. When I picked up, they used the partial name I gave. I knew immediately it was a scam but I played along. Called back and it was a Microsoft number. I have norton on my computer so they should be the one to call if my computer gets hacked

I never answer unknown number calls. After reading the comments here, I am blocked 1-800-642-7676!

I get unwanted call about two times a day from this number even thou I have told them not to call me.  I want it stop.

I received a call from this number telling me that my information is being hacked.

Got a call today from MICRSOFT AT 2:43 PM....I didn't answer because I know it's just ANOTHER Scam... I am so sick of tired of all these calls coming in....   202-455-0408 Washington DC  , another one today LAKE ARROWHE, CALIFORNIA...  PLEASE FIND AWAY TO STOP ALL THESE HARRSING PHONE CALLS
