- Sheryl replies to DennisReceived a call from this number today and finally decided to talk to the person. Could not understand what he was saying but when I told him I did not have my computer, he hung. He wanted me to run a script and I am glad I read this post. Good thing is these people do not have my home number. I could have easily fallen prey to this tactic. Thanks for posting Dennis!

- Brentwood girlDon't ever let these scamming dirt bags even talk to you. They will get your credit card number plus intentionally wreck yourban computer. They did this to my sister and she had to cancel her card and buy a new PC! Geek squad couldn't fix it when these guys destroyed it. When they call tell them, "hey that's funny because I don't even have a computer" leaves them shocked! LOL

- WrongwayI got a call from them yesterday. I said hello, there was a pretty good pause, and a then a woman with an Indian accent answered. She said she was "Internet Service Tech", and called me by name, and told me that someone from Nigeria and China was trying to hack my computer. She kept asking me if I would log onto my computer so she could help me. I told her that I was nowhere near my computer, ( I lied). I asked her if she was with Microsoft and she just kept saying she was "Internet Service". She wouldn't actually say whether she was or wasn't. I knew it was a scam because everything I know about Microsoft, they don't call you unsolicited.
- Caller: Internet Service
- Ben replies to henryI see we have some apple haters on here but I think they missed the point.
I too have a mac and received calls from this number claiming to be Microsoft regarding my iCloud email address being "hacked". Doesn't make sense to me. Microsoft has no involvement with either my computer or my email. Shouldn't I be hearing this news from apple? It's definitely a scam.
They called my business number instead of my cell phone, which is another dead giveaway because on any account information, I only provide my personal cell phone number the only account that I've provided both for is google. So they probably were sold my information or pulled it from one of my business listings. - APRIL LOVECall me regarding microsoft computer window. They said i owe a bill which i don't have . I have a mac laptop. This is a scam to get money.
