- SomeoneI go on my checking account this morning to find that for the past 10 months I've been charged $8.25 on our checking account that we don't hardly ever use because we have 4 checking accounts. So the only thing it has on the charge is this phone number so I googled it and here I am. I called the bank and they told me these scammers somehow got a hold of my husband's debt card info online and have been charging it for the past 10 months. Thank God the bank is going to refund us the money and write off as fraud.

- chrWoman - Asian accent- looking for "Ronald". I've been receiving 6-8 texts and emails daily for this guy after answering one call and saying he doesn't exist at this number. When this woman asked for ron, I simply said "no" because saying "yes" to anything opens another whole can of worms. I have no idea who they think they've dialed but she THREATENED ME and said "do you want me to spread your number?" I said "What?" as I thought i hadn't heard right. She repeated it so, I thought to myself, what does it matter, I get 15 scammer phone calls a day anyway plus the texts and the emails...I said "Go ahead, thank, you in as happy a way as I could manage.

- Bernadette replies to Patricia| 1 replyI get thes all the time. They say I have problems. It is a scam. You can call att phone company. They have a scam website you can report it to. Also the Federal Trade Commission. I talked to a lawyer about this and he said phone companies n others sell out information. He said we would have to get this put on a bill and have Congress pass this so information is not sold. I do not answer any more. I let answering machine get it. And yes they are very vulgar if you challenge them when they don't get there way. Hang in there I know something has to be done about this soon cuz I know some people had their CPU crashed because they were vulnerable.
- Actually.. replies to Bernadette...the scammers calling you don't have to buy anything - they just hook up auto dialers to dial blocks of numbers...
- PvTicoCalled when we were out. Left no msg. Now # is blocked, as I don't answer any call w/o a recognizable known caller Id. Why don't legitimate companies go to Congress and get legislation to stop this nuisance. I am sure there are legitimate companies that call, but I will not answer unknown, unavailable, or generic caller Id numbers. Legitimate co's have the clout to make themselves heard and stop this b*llsh@t.

- Shannon replies to Gene AshIf you have an android phone you should be able to click on the number like you are going to make a call. Up in the right hand corner (or at least on my Samsung 7 edge) there is labeled delete or more. Click on more, you will see a block / unblock number from there it give you options to either block call or block message. Other wise do a search on your phone to block numbers

How many times will you allow them to call before you obtain a call blocker? Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.
